RIT @ SLU Friday 10/16

Re: RIT @ SLU Friday 10/16

Bit of a rough start for the stand-in RIT radio guys. Hopefully they'll find their groove.

The radio guys college students? If RIT wins - they may need to do all the games :D

Re: RIT @ SLU Friday 10/16

And that's the period. 1-0 RIT, and the Tigers get to start the second on the man advantage.

Re: RIT @ SLU Friday 10/16

Pretty sloppy play by both teams in the first, moss left some juicy rebounds, but nothing came of them. The RIT goal bounced behind the net after going wide and was put in the backdoor. No official shots yet, seemed RIT outshot us though

Re: RIT @ SLU Friday 10/16

SLU takes a 2-1 lead on a PP goal at 9:55 of the third. (After RIT really dominating play to that point.) Shots RIT 10 SLU 4 so far in the period.

Re: RIT @ SLU Friday 10/16

Still 2-1 SLU with about 3:00 to play

Shots in the 3rd are 21-4 in favor of RIT

Re: RIT @ SLU Friday 10/16

I'm getting a little tired of these games (and there are a lot of them) where we dominate play but can't get the puck in the net. It's becoming a definite trend, it seems.

Re: RIT @ SLU Friday 10/16

Over the radio, that sounded like a really pathetic 6x5 attempt. Beating up on AIC and Holy Cross isn't good enough anymore; we need someone who can get us over this hump against ECAC teams.

Final Shots ... 43-20 RIT (23-5 in the 3rd!!)... a bit of payback for RIT's win at the Ritter.
