RIT @ RPI Friday 10/22/10

Re: RIT @ RPI Friday 10/22/10

I suspect that SA is bringing Koudys along slowly. I think that we will see him play regularly by the new year.

That was my thought also-and it does not concern me in the least. I do like giving Tinordi some ice time on a regular line.

Of course, I have been saying all along that he will be our highest Dman NHL draft choice, and the current record holder, Cam Brauer, wasn't a regular playing in only 18 games in one season.

The RPI lines are up http://www.rpiathletics.com/documents/2010/10/8/2010-11MHKYLineChart.pdf?id=902.

Scratches: Beauregard, Burgdoerfer, Cullen, Koudys, and Smith

I really like that 4th line. We have four lines that all have some scoring punch in them. Think Tinordi can really free up some space in the corners for Rogic and Halpern to use their quickness.

Not sure why we'd go with Dolan over Koudys, but perhaps Coach is looking at this as the last "experimental" game of the year.

The RPI band sounded great last Saturday. It was really good to be able to hear them without the glass in the way. I always enjoyed games when both bands were present. Kicks up the atmosphere a bit.

Right-In the old days the Xmas Tournament was so quiet when it was held in December because the bands were not there. Never liked that quiet feel to HFH

My first impression of college hockey back in 1993 was the band and the energy they gave to the building. Since then, if I had a choice, I would sit on the band end of the ice. They make it for me.
