Wild idea: combine D-I and D-III frozen fours into one event.

Milwaukee has two arenas within blocks of each other.

Not so much a wild idea, but moreso an old one. Thankfully it was shot down once it became clear it was nothing more than the wet dream of two sycophants who, blessed be to all things sacred, are no longer near anything resembling a NCAA committee. A DIII FF in Tampa really would have been a boon to DIII...sure.

As a related tangent, the relevant question these days is whether DIII sends its semifinals and finals back to campus sites. It'd be a logistical disaster which makes me think there's a reasonable chance it happens.

There's a thread on here about it somewhere. Came four months after initially reported and doesn't even reference the most relevant documents, but that ain't my problem.
