Yeah, I suppose, it probably won't be too bad.

I'll be in your neck of the woods in 2 weeks. Flying on on the 15th and flying back to MSP on the 18th. I'm considering flying in early on Sunday to do touristy stuff, but I'm traveling with a coworker, so that might not work. And I've already been to DC twice, so I've done the touristy stuff, maybe I'll go to a Nationals game.

Yeah... my parents are in town Saturday (14th) through Monday morning (16th) and I'll likely be playing kickball on the 15th... so anything Monday or Tuesday works.

6 weeks and 4 days until Eric Church and Brantley Gilbert at Target Center. Can. Not. Wait.

I hate you. I'm just gonna have to cry myself to sleep & be content with Jake Owen.

So, I've been in the ER twice over the weekend. Severe abdominal pain, nausea, fever. A slew of drugs that didn't help, xrays, bloodwork, and a UA later, and there's still no answers and I'm still in pain. So dumb.

Mom heads down to Ann Arbor on Sunday to start 5 weeks of radiation for her super freaking rare adrenal cancer. Prognosis is good though, so we're all staying positive.

Who are you?

Best of luck to you and your mom with your health:)

A) completely impossible
B) you think they didn't test for it anyways?
C) it's radiating pain through my entire abdomen
Usually when this happens to me, I just have to fart really bad.

Appendicitis?

Mine in 7th grade felt it was just a really awful flu until the doctor told me that it burst and I had to undergo emergency surgery. NMUKat had hers removed as a senior in HS, and her hospital gave her Demerol twice before her dad took her to a different hospital for a second opinion.

And I think USCHO and NBC Sports Talk's own Joe Yerdon just underwent surgery for it yesterday.

He did indeed. They seemed to think the bloodwork and/or X-rays would've pointed to that, but truthfully, that was my first assumption. I would've been a lot more comfortable with a surg consult, but they insisted it was unnecessary. Should the pain become more right side concentrated, I intend to order one myself. (working for a doctor has its perks)
