This is the first day off I've had in a couple weeks. I'm freaking tired. Got an electric skillet for my birthday and now I'm getting my grocery list together so that I can make fajitas tomorrow.

Solid comeback with by SLU tonight over Niagara, 4 unanswered, 3 in the 3rd. Game winner with 15 ticks left.

Up early for my USA Hockey officiating seminar, then driving back to NYC at somepoint after that.

Quiet night in here.

Busy in the score update thread. MN only gets one point from UND this weekend. Thank God for alcohol......and decent Sioux fans to watch the games with.

most people are having fun... me, I'm listening to Alfred Hitchcock drone on about the silliness of the modern era and the instant contact culture... of 1973

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 86: Noobs, Halloween, and Pumpkins, oh my!

Is that the alcohol talking? ;)

Surprisingly, no. Last night our group had me, MNS, SloeVag, ShirtlessGuy, bbdl, BPH, Daddy SloeVag, and a couple ex-posters at a Sioux bar. Tonight just MNS and I watched the game (SloeVag drove up to the game, the rest were just MIA).

But I will say that last night might've been Mankato Meltdown (don't ask) if this were a late-season series or playoff series. :o

I'm having fun, too. Though it's a quiet night in kind of fun.

I'm an easterner... fill me in.

Well...I was on the phone with SloeVag after the heavily favored MN Gophers lost in triple (?) OT in the first game of the conference playoffs. It ENDED with me yelling "hear this?!" and slamming a bottle of whiskey on the counter (which he heard) and then taking four swigs from said bottle. Then melting down for another ten minutes. Con1977 (who was in town for the WI/SCSU matchup) was crashing at my place and showed up about 10 minutes after the finish of the meltdown. He was scared until I assured him I was calm at that time. :o

My worst meltdown. Ever.

Back from HH. They won. L'il had 2 goals and an asst. He is playing well but more importantly he is happy. God knew what he was doing!

Now imagine that Sunday night, when it was the deciding game, and Bakunin, Almington, Con1977 and I were in public for a multi-OT MN win.....yeah.

The waiter and patrons were scared at that time, also. :D

Things happen for a reason, although stuff like that should never happen. Glad to hear everything is working out for the best:)

Yawn!

It's a good thing RPI doesn't go to Alaska often.

I fell asleep during Lowell's alaska trip back in 2003... not really sure why though.... most saturdays I was in bed at 3.
