Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 86: Noobs, Halloween, and Pumpkins, oh my!

I could do with fewer imbedded sounds in that thread.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 86: Noobs, Halloween, and Pumpkins, oh my!

Benny Hill was about the top of the heap, but the Battle Hymn (the first time) was pure genius.
It's more that one page will have two different imbedded sound files. Rick Astley is bad enough, but to have him singing over top of something else is just mean.

And I rather enjoy Sakkity Sax(sp?).

Until 5:15ish, so I'll be over there sometime near 5:45 or 6.

I plan to leave at 5:15, given the route I have to take and rush hour, so we probably will end up there just ahead of you.

Yakety Sax.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 86: Noobs, Halloween, and Pumpkins, oh my!

It sounds like a slam dunk, but I'm not getting ahead of the interview process at this point. I'd really like to stay on with the company, but they did offer me a generous severance package that I have three weeks to accept. I'll go to the interview tomorrow with everything I'd have for an interview with anyone else, and see how it goes. It's a 35 mile drive, one way, but it's completely opposite all the traffic coming into the cities. If this works out, I may have to get something more economical to commute with.

ETA -I would still keep my Silverado, of course. :)
Good luck on that! Although, it would be really nice if they would let you take the new job AND the severance for losing your old one :D
I hate searching for a job.
Yeah, I know the feeling. Hope you find something soon.

Check your facebook, killer.

Scary, isn't it?
Yay! I have a new facebook friend.

I get sad every time I see the ESPN commercial advertising the show about the Gretzky trade. "What if I told you that a country would fail to protect its greatest natural resource.":(

Speaking of things syncing up, we should try and put the Beer Barrel Polka and the BSU fight song in there so they start at the same time.

It works. Seriously.

What is it with USCHO around 6 AM EDT? I have learned not to repeatedly submit messages and then delete extra copies because they eventually show up, but it sure takes a long time.
