Boy is it intimidating trying to think how to keep up with this crowd. :(

On the other hand, we're about to go to the mall. Name of mall: MegaBox. How's that?

You know what's awesome?

Steak.

Yes.

It was not, but it was peppercorn encrusted with rice and green beans/onions/garlic.
Could you post the recipe in the Cooks thread, please? I've been looking for a better way to enjoy steak, and you may have just enlightened me...

Evening, Lodge. Another long day is in the books, and I've got a 16 mile run and work coming up tomorrow.

kinda weird to have most of your stuff condensed to a bunch of boxes in an area of one room and shipped off... strange day... I guess its all happening.

Is it owned by Kate Hudson?

She's a silent partner.

I suppose that's preferable to the ones that scream loud enough to set off car alarms.

Just keep it in the gutter and you'll be fine. :D

Good night, Lodge.

35 days until Friday 9 October (Michigan Hockey in Alaska Day).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

Congrats, Nathan!

I'm so glad this week is finally over. Felt excruciatingly long, and I only had a four-day week.

Woo for 5-hour drive tonight! ...ok, a bit of sarcasm there. I'm really not used to this. New England is rather compact. At least I'll have good company. :)
Oh suck it up you weenie!!! I did about 3 drives last weekend that were probably all 5+ hours, and two of those drives included crossing the great expances of Illinois on likely their worst interstate, I-55. :p

You know what's awesome?

Steak.
Mmmmm...... I could go for a good steak.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

Could be my last sober post for the weekend, as I intend on consuming more alcohol in a weekend than ever before at Electric Zoo. My wallet is taking a major hit this weekend, but such is life. Hope everybody has a great weekend of good weather, good food, good drinks and good friends:)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

Been in western Maine the last 3 days, finally get home and now I'm heading to the County(northern maine to you flatlanders). I really don't want to go but money is money:D

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! it is silly saturday and a 3 day weekend! Have to meet the family for lunch by 12. Before that have to deal with the tomatoes that got picked and are a bit 'damaged' and a bunch of other stuff like pay bills that should have been done already. I feel like a one man show when Mr goes back to work!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

Hey, next time I go up to the attic can you guys please not lock the door. Last time I saw daylight we were on the 46th installment.

Who are you? ;)

'Morning, Lodge! Hoping to hit the road here soon... we're off to spend the day with Flashy Man's family in Summit Lake, WI.

My boss told me that upper level management "has concerns about my attitude". I can't imagine why. :p

Rather than worry about my attitude, they should worry about the idiots that don't do their jobs properly and abuse their sick leave.

I think you should just light things on fire. I don't understand why people expect others to "take it for the team".

starting to think of things i want to have before I leave the area... i think I'll snare some Tri-Sum potato chips (Leominster, MA) later.

Wow. It's awesome how repworthy this post is: I note the quality of contented resignation in the phrase "such is life." And there are few things a wise man could deservedly hope for more than good weather, food, drinks, and friends.

Whatever an Electric Zoo is, it sounds like a fine weekend.

I, for my part, will stay in Clovis, NM until Monday morning, working nights. I hope everyone's weekend is at least halfway decent and at most halfway sober.
