Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

I've got friends in LA that continually try to recruit me out there to come do anything for work. Going out there blindly with no money and a truck full of crap doesn't really appeal to me.

California has to be the worst state in the union and I'm from Maine so;) .You couldn't pay me to live there(unless it was enough to retire on:D )

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

I just want a full time job, period. Don't care what it is anymore. Eff it, I'll be a ditchdigger. I have a few friends that went to law school, and a few that went to medical school, so I'll still get to hang out and chill at ridiculously expensive places.

I too am not a big fan of California at all and, hell, New York drives me nuts as it is - going to a state WORSE than New York doesn't exactly turn my crank.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

Anyone want to bake a cake for me? (I need to bake tonight, and I really don't feel like doing...well, anything, really.) I can pay you by letting you make chocolate pudding!

You could be a Kobe and a Manny fan:D .

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

Rather than being a productive member of society by painting and cleaning the new apartment, I'm going to stay home and watch Rookie of the Year and relax. *sigh* There aren't enough hours in the day/week/month/life.

You could be a Kobe and a Manny fan:D .

If that's not a reason to stay out of LA, then I don't know what is!!

Hi Lodge, long time no post!

So Diva and I are going on a tour of the admired New Glarus Brewing Company in a couple of weeks, I can't wait. 6-8 beer samples, 4-5 cheese samples.

Hey, brent, are you interested in doing anything tonight? I'm sick of watching the failure of my favorite baseball team's pitching staff. I have 4 bottles of spotted cow, freshly smuggled from WI, that I can contribute towards any drinking expedition.:D

I'm zombified right now, just watching the Twins. I'm not spending any money this weekend, due to Operation Colorado next week/end. :(

BPH (and bigblue) what time for OC next Tue?

When's happy hour?

I work until 5:15, so (safe bet) couldn't be there until 6.

ok, I'll find a way to keep myself entertained. There are some movies around here that I need to watch.

keep me posted on the OC next Tue, I might be able to make it, and it sounds like its a good time, but I don't have a time preference

I'm at work until 6:30, and the $2 pint special (remember, it's ANY DRAFT that is NOT on their little blackboard) is from 7-midnight.

bbdl: it's the Plymouth OC, btw.

So, 7? :)

Evening lodge, found out I'm going to be doubly involved in the wedding, escorting the grandmother, and participating in a neat 7 cord "knot" tying thing that my cousin and my soon to be CIL are doing. Also had some pretty good SF microbrews Anchor Steam lager and Liberty Ale, along with a Portsmouth, NH Microbrew that I forgot the name of. Tomorrow night will be night #2 of Operation Gameshape for the 21st in 4 days:eek:

You can never go wrong with a Four Horsemen. :D

(Jack, Johnny, Jim, and Jose) and actually, change "can never" to "will always"

only if you do it right and have one shot of each and do them consecutively, instead of how I've seen some do it as one shot all mixed together.
