Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE. friday is here.
My boss decided to call a meeting at 8 AM. I am not supposed to be there at 8. I am supposed to be there 45 minutes later. No mention of comp time. No can you come. This is because the sh*thead other NP is a d*ckhead and has been lazing out and dumping everything to the boss with a righteous attitude instead of realizing she is not just an RN but is an NP and her scope of practice has changed. Now I will get caught in the crossfire as she can't be seen favoring me. I am royally ****ed. Great way to start the day.
Anyone that can yell 'good morning' while having that going on is definitely a glass-half-full kind of person! Good luck, and good morning!

Incidentally, our hospital CEO just quit yesterday, and there was much rejoicing. I think she's going to replace Paula on American Idol.

Good morning, Lodge! There are 63 days until the start of the regular season.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

Good Morning Lodge. Nice rain falling here - hope it keeps up all day as we could use a good soak.

Are you skating JMS? I've heard mixed things about them, and I just don't want to pony up the $15/game.

I have skated with them a few times. It has been a while since I was so bad the last time I skated with them. They have since added a level 1 for rank beginners where I will likely have an easier time keeping up. :o I have a number of physical issues that impair my ability to skate - bulging disk in low back, chronic tendinitis in both knees, arthritic ankle. Combine that with not being a very good skater anyway and I suck. But I'm feeling better now. :)

I have been doing some PT on my own and with a chiropractor and I'm much stronger than I was so I'll try skating again. This time is on a small rink 3 on 3 and only $10. I love the 3 on 3 format for the kids, very fast pace, tons of puck touches, shots and goals. It should be good for us adult beginners too. I hope they fill the time. I can't imagine we'll actually be able to skate 3 on 3 for 1-1/2 hour, the kids are dead after an hour.

/end ramble ;)

So Lewis, I hope the time you spent with your pal, Mr. Richard Head, was productive. Can you give us the gist of any compliments he may have thrown your way? :D

Hang in there. ;)

Morning lodge, beautiful day shaping up in Richmond, and going to try out some disc golf with my cousin and some of her friends and our family in a little bit. Should be a good time.

Hopefully somewhere like AIC; they need all the fans they can get.

Good morning, Lodge. Time to pay bills... ugh.

GLM is putting it together this year. And Bob is correct, AIC is a contender. From what I hear, it'll be more eastern than western in location, no matter what the school.

Specifically, a patient nearly bled to death (post-op heart). My actions helped keep that person alive.

Moving out here?

Or here??

I understand if you don't want to jinx it by saying anything. Good luck regardless!!

On your date with the cougar?

You know those sexual things you post are not real acts for real people don't you?

Ha! I was thinking that too. :p

Happy Friday kids. I'm kind of getting in the middle of something with my co-worker and new manager. They really don't like each other that much and co-worker was pumping me for info on what manager said about her when I was in Chicago with them. New manager was very chatty while there to me about her (some of which I agreed with). It's making me a little uncomfortable. To top it off, I got an email from our ad agency yesterday inviting us to their box at Fenway at the end of August and she (co-worker) was not on it and I thought she was and I said "So, are you going to go?" I honestly did not notice was not on the distribution list. It was totally wrong of them to not include her. I really don't want to play mediator.

Nice job!

You need to tell this story to the cougar. Life saving stories are definitely panty-droppers.;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

You can tell we're inching towards the season. A few n00bs have popped up (at least for BU) and the Lowell-Vermont sniping has picked from where it left off last season.

"Today, my boyfriend who likes to get high was driving me insisting he wasn't currently high. A family of deer was standing on the side of the road and he pulled over by them waited until they walked closer to us and said, "what seems to be the problem officers?" He wasn't kidding. FML."

gmann, do you have a mistress? :p
