I did not set foot outdoors once yesterday. The weather was too ****ty. I did get some sheetrock taped and mudded in the new closet we're putting in, so I wasn't unproductive.

Good Morning Lodge!

Dining room had the inaugural meal yesterday. Main floor is mostly back in place. Upstairs.... um. sort of. Finished basement- in progress. Hotness you all had is out here now. Bummer.

One more day of it here. 92 out right now, headed to 95 with 50%+ humidity. It’s a little steamy this afternoon. It breaks tomorrow. It’s not supposed to touch 80 the rest of the week.

I’ve already walked almost 4 miles in this stuff today.

When I went out with my family on Sunday for Father’s Day I also gave my brother a belated birthday card with scratch tickets as a gift. He just texted me that he won $216. Not bad for a last minute gift!

Happy days, its Menards 11% off week. Just dropped $500 there tonight on tile, morter, grout and a few other things for the bathroom. Likely not my last trip there this week.

We are finally DONE!!!!

The cleaners left at 5:30. 5 months, 13 days, 22 hours later we have our house back. It is beautiful. And weird. For the last 5 months we haven't been able to do anything without considering who was coming, what we needed to prepare for them, etc. It feels very weird.

Evening, Lodge. Counting down to MI next month. Wish it would stop raining/being Seattle-like, but I can wait until the weekend for that. ;)
