I thought I remember something like that as well. Then again, I usually never opened an e-mail separately. I almost always read everything within the preview window.

Yeah. Right now we have admin access on our laptops. I can't help but think that will change... :(

That changed for us around this time last year. Indeed, it did suck. I used to be able to download content that worked well for my job, but now I can't. If I want it, I have to jumpt through a series of hoops that just make the effort too much. Unless we get special permissions set, we can't change config files to fix applications, and my LAN access is about to be severely reduced. In short, these forced changes for the sake of data security all blow monkey balls.

We are doing the same thing over the next few months. I can't wait. What were you on?

Edit: Based on the fact that you said tabbed view in a subsequent post, it sounds like you were in Lotus as well.
Yeah, we were in Lotus. I was expecting a huge improvement from Notes to Outlook, but it isn't that much of an improvement. Yeah, there are some cool things, but there are also some things that Lotus was better for. Overall, it isn't bad, it will just take some time to get used to.

I am one of the few that has admin rights here that isn't in IT (I have some programs that I need to collect data in the field that require admin rights).

Officially put out the line for Packers-Bears Sunday Night Football tickets for the second weekend of November. My internal customer has a suite, and my wife has been bugging me to take her ever since I saw a game in a suite there 2 years ago. We'll see if I can snag some tickets. If I can get them, we'll be doing the MN-Iowa, Packers-Bears weekend of football.

That, and they don't technically exist anymore. They're America West, but now owned by American. If that makes sense. Which it probably doesn't.
Sure. They took on a new name and became a subsidiary of American Airlines. It's pretty straight forward.

Sort of, they were bought by America West. America West then rebranded as US Airways still using America West operating certificate completely surrendering the US Airways certificate. Then, AWE was bought by American, but they are still under the original AWE operating certificate as a subsidiary to American.

I don't know yet, I think it is still in the stage of transitioning all of my stuff into the program, and that is why it isn't responding like I expect. I will give it some time to settle down.

Best attribute of Outlook? It's not Lotus.

Just back from the National College Fair, Minneapolis with Jr. Lots of schools we can't afford there. It's kind of like going to the boat show in the same space (Convention Center).
