yeah, airlines suck... but yeah, send her home. Just set up some MREs or a jar of peanut butter and bread, not the best living, but you'll live :p

I can do almost everything I need to EXCEPT carry stuff. Still using two crutches so carrying a plate of food or glass or mug with a drink is tough. I may just set up a chair next to the kitchen counter between stove/microwave and sink and slide stuff back and forth between those two as needed. I can survive, it's my wife who is worried. I feel a lot better since the PT told me to trust the ankle yesterday.

If you were less than a week out I think it would've been more of a concern but it sounds like you're getting back into the swing if things. It will probably be good for you to function on your own for a few days and learn how to maneuver around without the aid of someone. Do you still have pain or is it just discomfort at this point?

Ok, Hartford WI kinda sucks. At least I found a halfway decent wifi spot to figure out the layout of the town, sorta. Cellphone reception is spotty, too, to trying to figure out where everyone is on the journey is a little bit of a challenge.

And some stupid Sconni beeyotch hit my car. I was RIGHT NEXT TO HER at a stoplight, she was in turn lane only. Light turns green, she decides to move to my lane, and I hadn't moved quite yet. No damage to either car, but wow talk about inattentive driving.

Not much pain at all. I have 6 weeks of programing telling me to NOT PUT WEIGHT ON THAT FOOT and I'm gradually breaking that training. Also NO strength in that ankle/leg/foot yet. If I was another week into my PT it would be fine, I'll probably be down to one crutch by then.

Brent, now that I think about it, I drove through Hartford several times on the way to/from a project in Juneau, WI.

Wait.....who's getting married? And what did bbdl do? ;)

Had a grand time last night after the groomsmen's dinner. Apparently, we have 32 of the 45 hotel rooms, and there is a small outdoor patio, which many of us took over and made a cocktail hour out of it.

Allegedly some are golfing as I type this, the poor bastiges. We smart ones got our sleep. :)

Morning.

Rainy day today. Waiting on my free oil change to finish. Didn't need it at 1700 miles, but it expires next week.

Smart business sense.

Gorgeous day here in Paint Thinner Nation. Not hot, slight breeze, sunny.
