Morning Lodge.

JF, pack your water wings for your visit.

Shipping a few pumps, are we?

Apparently filters are the item du jour. ALL THE FILTERS.

Still raining here, so to keep with the theme: ALL THE RAIN.

Spent yesterday away from work. Went to the funeral in the morning, and then went golfing with my dad and some of the guys from the course in the afternoon. I used to be a member, but haven't been since I moved too far away to justify it. It was good to get out there and see all of the guys again. It was men's league guest day, so it was a very informal tournament, and we had quite a bit of fun. My golf game is still a complete mess, I have a major case of the shanks, that have carried over from last year, but I was booming the driver. We played a Texas scramble, and I was the worst in our group, but we still used my drives probably 13/18 holes, including some par 3s that I actually hit good shots on. My driving was good, and I putted really well, so at least I wasn't a liability to the team.

I just made a hotel reservation for my niece's wedding in October 2015. I have never made a reservation over a year in advance before.

ShirtlessBob has posted several times that he had watched or was watching a show called The Cupcake Wars. Yesterday I was at The Sweet Lobby and noticed a sign that they had won a contest on the show in 2012. I tried one of their winning entries Fire Breathing Chocolate some time ago, and I found it almost inedible because it was so spicy.

Awesome. And speaking of Cupcake Wars, I'm watching it now. :)

Good morning.

Pic of flooded back yard up on FB for those connected to me.

When I was driving through Iowa one time, on my way to IA City, I saw a ski boat on a body of water half that size. I'm not kidding. It was a nice boat too.

Good morning Lodge. Off today. Let's see if I can actually plan to not work for most of it.

Hey goldy, BU just got a commitment from Brian Bellows' son from Edina. Know him?

I do know Kiefer, though not well. Jr played against him in mites and with him in a little spring or fall league. Surprised he's going NCAA, thought he'd go major junior in Canada. Tough kid, very thick as they say, not the speediest but knows the game.

I think my settings have switched me to the mobile version. No idea how. No one has avitars, no numbers on posts, I can't view my settings or my profile. If I click default settings it brings me to the fan forum that looks right but then I click on a thread and it goes back to this way. This is awful. I remember scarlet having issues. Anyone else. It is making me crazy. mel says the Mouse messed with it. She isn't kidding!

I still haven't figured out how to get it back either. If anyone wants to provide some guidance, that would be great.

I've tried everything on my Kindle, and it's stuck on the mobile version, too. It's terrible.
