Happy Day of the Five Mayonnaise, Lodge.

Hoping to go put an offer in on a house this evening. It'll be our fifth try... maybe it's the fifth time that's the charm?

Any of you Twin Cities degenerates know of a good public shooting range? Preferably on the Ramsey/Dakota County side of town?

We don't want you shooting the public down here.

Rosemount might still have its range. Once upon a time, back when my buddy shot there, it didn't require membership. I don't know if that holds true anymore.

Shooting what? Plenty of places for pistol, fewer for shotgun and still fewer for rifles.

So gmann, looks like Jr will be camping at the shooting range with one of his buddies on the team for the big shooting event up there. No hotels to be had in Alex by the time the other dad called a couple weeks ago.

Let me know if there is anything I can do

Good afternoon Lodge.

First day without pain meds. I took the docs orders seriously and stayed way ahead of any potential pain. I enjoyed being Batman the last three days though. ;)

On my way to Green Bay. Stopped part way to get some lunch, and in an attempt to keep eating healthy I ordered some low-cal salad. It is ok, but a burger would have been so much better.

Goldy, I think you left your gloves in the truck. I'll have to get them to you next weekend.

Thanks, they're waaaaay too small for you anyway. ;) Barring something unforeseen we plan to come down Friday evening to set up a blind then Saturday pre-dawn to get in the blind and hunt. Figuring on that first finger where we saw the birds. Let the family know those bozos driving through your field in the dark are OK. Let me know if we should hunt elsewhere due to planting. We can always use the other farm by the yellow house where you said you'd be planting beans.

Being that it's 1 ticket to each event. I'd say that's unlikely. :p

Although if I can't go I'll sell for face value.

Eta. Do driving jokes work when I own a car goldy?

That would be cool.

goldy, I thought you were a smart engineer? It would be much more efficient to pay for his round trip flight.:p
