Does anyone else ever want to treat someone's e-mail, statement or argument like a computer program being compiled? I got to the first line of this e-mail and my coworker wants to check "the membrain". I feel like I should throw out an error message and refuse to proceed.

Belated Happy Birthday Hammer!

I am surprised that this has not come up in previous years, or at least I don't recall it. Since it doesn't require math, I am sure you would have remembered another poster who shares a birthdate with you.

Not surprising since you don't do math. :D

Sometimes I can't remember to get milk on the way home. I am bad at remembering. Also I usually do not post BD unless the person is listed. I know some people are not comfortable listing their BD

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

I'm fine with listing my birthday. Although it's never netted me any gifts!

This one's a semi big one (40).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Is it because it doesn't account for leap minutes and the 4/100/400 leap year rule properly?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

I taught Beau how to High-5, so if we're (me and the dog) sitting on the couch watching a game, and there's a goal/touchdown, I can say "Beau, Touchdown!" put my hand up and he'll give me high-5. Now he's starting to come up to me and putting his paw up because he wants me to give him a high-5. Dogs are so awesome.

Now if only they could walk themselves in the winter and learn to use the toilet. Then they'd really be awesome.

You remember mine. :)

An interesting thing is that some people (you for example) have things set up to list their birthdate, but not how old they are. However, vBulletin lists all of the people in correct chronological order, so one can narrow down the ages quite closely.

That's awesome.
My dog runs away when there's a touchdown, or goal, or whatever I'm excited about in sports. I think she doesn't care for the yelling and clapping.

How does she react to yelling and swearing, like when watching the Wolverines this season? ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

I was a yeller back in the day and made both of my boys cry when they were infants/toddlers during games on TV - both when I was happy about something and angry.

I've toned it down to some degree although they are old enough that it wouldn't faze them anyway.

Yelling when happy and upset are the same reaction. As for this season, there isn't much swearing or yelling, it is apathy. I go to the home games. The away games are usually on the tv at my house, but more as background while I do other things.

But it's ok. It's hockey season now, and my Wolverines are........ 0-1 :(
At least we beat up the jailbait, and maybe tonight we can beat up on some Canadian kids. Yeah hockey!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Well, for those of you who have been following my Facebook, it's looking like I'm going to make it official.

I'll be pulling a Sarah Palin, leaving Alaska, and accepting a position in Denver, Colorado within the next couple months.

Move advice? Areas to rent/buy/avoid?
