Yes, I got that far. What do I do from there? I click on the Tools tab and then what?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Then you can try the compatibility thingy. didn't work for me. The view in Private mode can be accessed this way too. I think it is easier to just click the control, shift, P

What version of IE are you using?

I have IE 11 on my PC. In order to turn on "InPrivate Browsing", you have two choices. First, using your keyboard, you can hit the key combination Ctrl+Shift+P. This will cause a new window to open and it will contain instructions about an icon so you will then know that you're browsing using an InPrivate window.

Second option, using your mouse:
1) In the menu bar of your IE window, just below the address bar, go to Tools. Depress the left-click button on your mouse.
2) The second option in the list is InPrivate Browsing, left-click your mouse on that.
3) Navigate to the board site. Done.

I agree with the control, shift, P thing. But what I'm asking is....what is the compatibility view thingy? I don't see it anywhere. Where are you seeing it? Is it a sub menu when you click on Tools? Is it in the Views menu?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Sub menu for tools, lower down on list.

And I can't believe they got a tie. :( what an insane game!!!!

Well, first off, stop using IE. That's your first issue. ;)

(I use Chrome; but I did use Firefox when Chrome was still working out their bugs when it came out)

I have no clue what the otherones do. I have a bunch of tabs for the sites I use so I am too lazy to work out how to change.

1. Install Google Chrome as your default internet thingy.
2. Never use IE again (just don't click on it).
3. Problems solved.

4. Place too much trust and data usage into Google's hands for the rest of your life. Because we all know they'd never misuse it.

FTR, I do use gmail, but then I refuse to use Google+ or Android phones. I figure that if I split my digital life into multiple companies, they'll either all be missing pieces or at least one of them will get it right when selling me out to the advertisers and g-men.

I don't use Google+, I did try it for a bit, then deleted it. And I have no smart phone, so Android et al is out the window. I do agree with "spreading the wealth," though. And of course, while it doesn't REALLY matter due to signup policies, I don't use my real name anywhere on the 'net.

F an a. It rained hard this morning at our campsite. Our site was on high ground and all was ok. However, about an hour after the rained stopped the ground became very soggy and puddles started forming. Very odd. We packed up quickly and broke camp. Drove just over 2 hours and set up camp and now we are good to go.

Finally got to the hotel room in Albuquerque. I don't think I like these late flights. Tomorrow we have to drive 3 and a half hours across this state. Fun.

Morning!

Next weeks vacation cant get here soon enough. Between moving, work, and wedding planning I am wiped out.

Our initial thoughts on a Honeymoon for next winter are Australia. Anyone have experience with a trip there?

LWB - Repped you. Sorry for long delay.

ETA: All-Star weekend tickets have been shipped! YES!! :D

Good Morning, Lodge!

This should be a fun day at work. The annoying co-worker who has been on vacation for 2 weeks is coming back. All of us love her to death, but we don't need to hear every little detail about everything.
