Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Morning Lodge.

I have no idea how I remembered the song Standing Outside a Broken Phone Booth with Money in my Hand by the Primitive Radio Gods last night at bar trivia. What is it with me and mid-90's soft/alt rock?

I've never even heard of it let alone could remember it.

Good evening Lodge.

Recovering and doped up.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

You made this up.

I bet he didn't. I remember that song, as well.

The title kind of stands out like "Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict" by Pink Floyd. Except the Phone Booth song was sort of a hit song.

It's nice to be able to watch my hockey team play games in May.

Gurt and any other Blackhawk fans..........Best of luck this series.

Nice to be home.
My one take-a-way from a week plus in NC:
Southerners love them some fast food chicken. KFC, Popeye's, Zazby's, BoJangles, Chick-fil-A.....

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Zaxby's rules.

This.
Co-worker and I flew into Charlotte and then drove an hour or so north. Needed to grab lunch the first day in town before going to our plant and at our exit it was either Burger King or Zazby's - in his words, "it sure as hell can't be worse than BK." Good call....

Grrrrr..... I got to work today and shortly before my first client I realized that I had broken the zipper to the pants I was wearing. Thankfully I happened to have a pair of shorts in the car and was able to change out of those pants. Those pants were getting due to be replaced pretty soon anyways.

I love drunk roommates who are obnoxiously loud and play music at 3:30 am when I work at 6:30 am..

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

There are so many things you can do to make that roommate's life miserable. You just need to get creative. First thought- a little (well, maybe about 2 times the normal dose) Mirilax mixed into the drink. Tasteless, produces results fairly quickly. Viola. Obnoxious person spends a little extra time hanging over the hopper. EIther end over the hopper works as long as they are out of your room. :p :p

Derby Day! Watching drunk rich women in funny hats, cheering for Calvin Borel, and making mint juleps. And of course, the race itself. I love Derby Day.
