Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Gooooooooooood morning, Lodj.

Closing in on 1K in this here thread. Wonder if they'll shut'er down all quick-like. Me, I like a thread with some heft to it, you know? None of these new, hip, scrawny-like threads. No sir.
Why, back when we was little, I remember a time where you couldn't swing a cat without .... ....... ... ..... ... . .

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

So, it wasn't "leaking" so much as "pouring". New radiator. Would be much less if Honda sold the pipe fittings separately...but, no, why would they do something crazy like that?

Oh, well....at least I will still have a car. :)

Sounds like something that could have african-engineered for about 1/10th of the cost. Oh well, at least its fixed.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Mornin' ya'll. We start an 8 game road trip tonight...perfect timing with two finals tomorrow.:p At least I've been able to work on these two a lot yesterday and another few hours here today before we hit the road. Should be back here around 10:30 as well, so I'll probably have a bit of time to finish up then as well.

And this was related to the transmission problem your dad had with the car?

Went out for lunch, and **** it is beautiful out today. Warm and sunny. Wouldn't have needed my light jacket!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Tranny fluid was leaking....and they had you replace a radiator.... hmmmmmm, bbdl's spidey sense is tingling....

The smaller cars, like a Honda, often have an integral transmission fluid cooler as part of the radiator. That was my first guess when he said "replace the radiator."

I would have expected the tranny fluid cooler to be a separate part from the radiator. I didn't know they integrated them into one part....Then, the smallest "car" I've ever owned is a full sized truck. :p

Currently 14 degrees and it feels like 14. Can you say s&ss?

You break that out and I'll give you a whole case of oatmeal raisin cookies.

Well, you aren't playing very nicely :p

Made 2 quiches, 2 lasagnes, 2 batches of cookies, made dough for 2 more batches and did laundry. Busy day....
