Anyone here used StubHub before? How many of the "sellers" are scammers or people who just bought up some tickets to try and turn a profit? How big of a ripoff in general is it?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

Scorebig.com is a better site I think. Instead of paying a steep markup, you'll get tickets for less than face - supposedly.

A good friend uses stubhub quite a bit as selling tickets is his main income. I'd say it's like any other site like ebay/etc, where the majority are normal people just trying to make a buck, and a small percentage are indeed scams.

Currently trying to find a good way to get our vehicles, which are in St. Louis Park.

Sometimes you can get really good deals, especially last minute where sellers lower their prices to make ANYTHING. Stubhub, like ebay, is a binding contract on purchase, so you're guaranteed those tickets.

Generally, I try to go elsewhere though, because stubhub has fees almost as bad as ticketmaster.

Just found out my mortgage has been conditionally approved!! Just gotta find my 2010 W2, or get a new copy. 10 days and counting!

The 1/2 inch of rain that was predicted didn't show up. I could have gone for the ride that I had originally intended. :(

The percent chance of rain doesn't mean what most people think it means.

If there's a 60% chance of rain, it doesn't necessarily mean it will rain in 60% of the forecast area, nor does it mean it will rain 60% of the time at your specific location. What it does mean is it will rain 60% of the time at some point within the forecast area.

The only rain I've dealt with has started from my head... It's flipping hot... I'm used to it but my sweat glands aren't.

That's the basic reason that I start at a ridiculous hour in the morning. (Why I also do it in April is another question. :) )

Grilling chicken for the week. Steak goes on the grill next.

Hearing Vin Scully call Dodger games is awesome.

Nice! I grilled up some pork chops tonight and sauteed some zucchini I picked up at the Farmer's Market yesterday.

Evening Lodge. Just used up the last of my spaghetti sauce tonight. AC is on. Just finished ironing. I packed for my Florida vacation today even though I'm not leaving till Friday. I have plans pretty much every night this week so it was the only time to get it done. Lots of new TV tonight. I will not be watching Breaking Bad but I will be trying out Political Animals. Looks pretty good. I set my TiVO for all my shows this week and next week while I'm gone. Took me forever. I watch too much TV.
