The mandatory choices are tired. Giada isn't that hot - the lollipop look doesn't do much for me and there are far better racks, even on the Food Network. Give me Nigella or Amanda Freitag any day over Giada, they have faces and bodies. Freddy graduated my freshmen year at BU, do the younger members even remember him? He's taken his talents to the SEL this year and is currently not even on an active roster. Bacon is bacon. It's not particularly relevant to this pole... but you can lump it in to activities to make you warm if it makes you feel good.

Sorry gmann, my possible source sold all of his remaining tickets for this season too. There are a couple of people posting tickets for sale on the GPL website though. Gopher Puck Live

So, our two vans at our off-site location were pretty much totaled over the weekend thanks to vandals. Flourescent orange spray paint all over the vans, anything that was glass was broken, sugar in the gas tank, slashed tires, etc. First thought was "kids." HOWEVER:

1. You have to know a few side roads to get to our building, and from the highway (which is the only place you can see the vans), you have about 1-2 miles of turns/side roads to get there. In other words, you kinda have to know what you're doing.

2. The dumpster, which was 15 feet away from the vans, was untouched. So was our 52' trailer, although that is unmarked while our vans are marked.

3. It APPEARED, though it would be a little jump due to the illegibility/sloppiness, that one van had the driver's/salesman's name spraypainted on the side.

4. NOTHING was stolen. In fact, the interiors of the vans were untouched.

5. Who has sugar and flourescent spray paint, and makes that kind of effort to get to a semi-secluded small lot, to hit only 2 of the four things by our section of the building? There's residential across the way that is much easier to get to, if you want to cause havoc.

Huh. I saw that yesterday. We were on our way up 494, heading to 55 to the Plymouth Ice Arena and I thought after we had passed "Grainger, I wonder if that's where Brent works" then "why was there orange writing on the sides of the vans, that's not like Grainger" then "was there orange on the wheels too?" Never thought about it again until you mentioned it here.

Goldy, no problem about the tix I am sure I can find some as other than the Lodge I haven't even looked.

Yeah, apparently it happened on Sat night.

Edit: grrrrreat, now goldy knows where he can find me. ;)

Think I made a new friend today. A mountain of a man who makes me look kind of tiny. and most of it was muscle. Just gotta remember to lower the table a couple of notches with him.

Huh.... 144 already?? I would have thought the Techies and other Math type crowd here would have one something mathematical with the poll instead of the winter options.
