Morning.

- Last 5 days of work for the year.
- Tickets to the NHL leading Wild on Wednesday
- Warm outside for mid-December

It's going to be a good week! :D

Morning Lodge.

Too warm for December. Outdoor rinks started getting flooded last week and are now melting fast. :( If it cools off quick though, the pond ice may be better. It was really bumpy when I chekced it on Saturday.

Good Morning Lodge.

Big surprise, the Bills lost again. Hopefully the Sabres will also get out of their little funk.

I got tickets to the Target Field concert on Saturday. Apparently it sold out rather quickly, so I was lucky to get tickets. My seats should be in short left field, and the stage is in deep center, so they should be pretty good!

edit: actually, they are in mid-right field, I messed up the labeling of the sections on the field. By the looks of it, they're pretty **** good seats.

Is there a polite way to kcik someone out of your house? Boyfriend has moved in without being invited to move in. He hasn't moved furniture or anything into my house, but he does his laundry here and only goes to his house to pick up mail or play in his garage.

Now he has pinkeye and a cold and I told him I don't want his germs in my house. And yet...he won't leave. Even when he's healthy I don't want him at my house 7 nights a week.

Look him in his pink eye and say firmly "Go Home!" Then calmly explain that while you are not breaking up with him, you have not yet decided that you want to live with him and you want your house back. Set a policy that he can stay over whenever YOU INVITE HIM TO DO SO.

Afternoon, Lodge! I have molasses spice cookies and double chocolate biscotti if anyone would like a cookie today.

I just noticed that I got an additional point of repping power. Drinks are on me. :D

Fun weekend. At the company party on Saturday, I was given an award for excellence which included a $500 bonus check. Who wants a round? ;)

I'm with goldy on this one. Your house is your space and he can't just start mooching in on it without being invited. It's one thing to come over on weekends or on a week night when invited, but quite another to start doing laundry and staying multiple nights. Pink eye might be the perfect way to broach the subject: "Hey, I know you don't feel well, but I really can't get sick during the holiday season/busy work schedule/etc. and you know how contagious pink eye is. It would really be best, I think, if you went back to your place for awhile." Then, as goldy said, continue on and explain that you're not breaking up, but he can't just stay, particularly when he's sick.

Wow I've only been dinged once so far. I figured that I would have been lit up from that Minnesota-Tech thread. :D
