Good morning Lodge.

My kids are early risers. 5:30 am and it's bonkerville.

Coffee is on. Bacon and french toast coming up.

Coming to your house for breakfast!

THis. Not the other thing. If I had three cups of coffee you wouldn't need to pay Nasa to explore the moon.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! silly saturday.

Kids are watching Polar Express and enjoying some hot chocolate.

I expected to wake up to an inch or two of snow. Nothing. Not sure where the snow is at but not a flake here in 320ville.

Trying to decide if I should go watch Bemidji play in the Dome next week.

Missing those days. Lil is still abed. He is in the phase of life that he thinks all that stuff is for kids. Can't wait for him to grow up enough to realize it is for everyone.

I am soaking up every second that I get to spend with my kids. I realize that one day they will not be pumped to hang with dad and enjoy a hot chocolate and watch a movie.
Maybe that's one advantage of having children later in life. Meaning, I am mature enough to know this. (?)

I am 'mature' enough too. makes it more poignant.

I don't know... sleep is the 5th food group... but hot chocolate and a movie sound good too. French toast sounds even better. One of the pre-game kickball bars has a former pro chef as an owner... their french toast is something evil. Still a total dive, but awesome french toast.

edit: seriously though, he must be old enough to be reading the boards... turning down good food is just silly... especially if you've got the metabolism of a hummingbird (just assuming since he runs).

Do it! Congrats to the Jacks! Although I would have liked to have seen the future Gopher QB with Mankato W in the dome too.

How about the dome deflates again after the 4A game and we don't have to see one of the mega-schools who won't split like they should win the 5A?

Have to go out and get last of the leaves out of the gutter before the rain/snow/whatever starts.

Hi.

Holy crap, I haven't been that hammered in a long, long time. I'm not sure if I'm still drunk, or really hung over.

It was a fun night. And that girl was hot. 13 years younger than me, but hot nonetheless.
