Sorry to hear that, Hammer. :(

Happy Friday to me! :D Even better was reading the Chicago sports section after a White Sox loss.

Sorry to hear Hammer.

Morning Lodge. Dropped jr off at a rink for skating lessons this AM. His teacher is a former Gopher and Krissy Wendall's brother, Erik. Have a ~2 hour drive to a kid soccer game tonight - Wilmar for the locals.

Congrats to all the Bruin fans - especially Scarlet! Go have a few martinis from the hottie barkeep tonight!

The warning sirens keep going off here in downtown Minneapolis. Are the Canucks invading? There are clouds, but no severe weather around.:confused:

Morning all, riding with another guy headed to our tugboat in Dacatur, AL. In Mississippi now, probably another 5 hours or so to go.

Morning Lodge. Condolences on your loss Hammer.

Full moon last night, and we definitely got the crazies at work (without goldy331 stopping in even!!!). Had to call police to come pick up a guy who was stoned out of his mind. He could barely stand up and almost fell over dozens of times. I had two people tell me about him within 30 seconds of him entering the store.

Next we had a woman (probably high as well), want to return some OTC medication (don't remember what OT was). Wouldn't let her do it without a receipt since she had reached her dollar limit in a year. She then proceeded to ask random customers for their ID so she could get store credit. We found out and told her we weren't going to do it with anyone's ID except hers. So she comes back with items in the same department with one of our Pharmacy Techs who hands me a package and says it's $2.89. I return the item, then go to scan the other stuff. When I get to this last item, I scan it, and realize they're syringes which have to be sold from one of 3 registers in the store none of which I am using. I have the power to override it and make it go through, but no way was I doing it. Went back to the Pharmacy asked them what department they were in and they told me they didn't know and that this couple had bought enough syringes from us recently. She was not very happy (couldn't understand why this was "so difficult"), but she really had no say in the matter. I then finished the last 7 hours of my shift. Yay for retail.

Aw, thanks goldy!! A few martinis from hottie bartender was already on the schedule for tonight! Last night's win will make them that much better. Plus, I'm off tomorrow so I can sleep off whatever I drink. ;)

Hats acquired this morning at 6:30am at Modell's, tshirts just purchased around the corner at City Sports. I'm all set for the parade, and my dad's father's Day gift!! It is so beautiful out today.

I used to go to church with the Wendells. Good people.
Used to work with Erik & Krissy's uncle, too.
Had it not been for my grandma telling me Erik was playing for the Gophers, I probably never would have started watching them and I wouldn't be where I am today.

Erik seems like a really nice guy, but maybe a little dittzy. He never did send me the e-mail we talked about three times, he could never remember what we had talked about regarding schedule, etc. Maybe a concussion or two in his playing career.

Dear Plate Tectonics:

I'm trying to close on a house. THAT WAS NOT FUNNY.

Nice little 5.0 shaker 50 miles from Anchorage.

The plates wanted you to be sure it would still be standing. You wanted that test, didn't you?
