Big day today. Youth service at church (2 services actually). Lil was an usher, greeter, communion assistant, sang with the crew for offering and was part of a skit. Yikes. All the kids were multitasking. It was really weird to have him say "Blood of Christ shed for you, Mum".

ANd now about to embark on the seed buying binge for the garden. I hate that. Too many catalogs and places.

And here we go with the parental smothering again. They just called to let me know they've arrived. They then tried to make sure I know how to get to the hotel from the airport.
I'M TWENTY-FARKING-SEVEN YEARS OLD, WITH AN ENGINEERING DEGREE FROM ONE OF THE MOST REPUTABLE ENGINEERING SCHOOLS IN THE UNITED STATES. I ALSO HAVE MAPQUEST DIRECTIONS, AND CAN ALWAYS CALL THE HOTEL WHO CERTAINLY GETS PEOPLE COMING IN FROM NASHVILLE AIRPORT ON A REGULAR BASIS. OR HEAVEN FORBID, ASK SOMEONE AT THE AIRPORT.

Sorry. Nothing against BU. But at this point it's a "better you than me" kind of scenario. I'm sure you'd think the same thing if it was between the Gophers and the Terriers.
