Nice poll. Don't really have any fat to shed, though.

And one for the happy hockey table tonight, please. :)

Basic recap of the worst 2.5 hours at work I've ever had in my almost-10-years there:

1. Pallet containing 50+ cases of toilet paper/napkins/paper towels (simply referred to as paper from now on) breaks while it's 5 feet up in the air. Spills everywhere, have to restack.

2. Get an order for 150-lb, 10 ft long guard rails. Pick one end up, slide pallet under. Pick up other end, center it on pallet. Then move, and reverse process to load on truck. Worst. Order. Ever. To. Pick. Gums up the works something fierce.

3. Some salesman doosh overrides the deadline to enter orders. Since it was past the deadline, it wasn't shipping tonight anyway, but since it's in the system, we still have to pick it. This one entailed 2 pallets, 7 feet high each after picking the products and stacking them, 100+ boxes of paper and trash liners.

4. 8 forklift picks (as opposed to hand-loaded picks). Annoying, takes forever, and our average PER DAY at the off-site is about 2-3. Already had 6 from earlier in the day.

5. Missed my deadline by an hour, due to all this. First late truck I've had, EVER.

6. Still had to go to main building, since the other semi-truck guy had to leave early tonight. And ship all the stuff I transported there.

7. All in all, a 10+ hour day, on a Friday. Don't * with me tonight.

I love to know how a team can steal the lead with 2:15 to go, have two timeouts, then give up a goal and a penalty within ten seconds.
We lost a lead with less than a minute left and then got called for interference after the goal. Did we interfere with the celebration? They also called a major on our key guy in the 1st that almost gave the radio guy a coronary (in the previous minute our guy was leveled from behind with no call)

Geese Brent. That sucks. Here tis the double.

I had a bunch of patients who haven't come in over a yr, all noncompliant, all thinking I was supposed to tell them that their medical conditions were perfectly fine. Add that to the folks who are really having a hard time with mental health issues and the usual ones who want the pain meds for the weekend for a party (do they really think I am this stupid??). Not a person who wasn't high maintenance. Brain drool.

Now you understand why I'm a bit perturbed right now. On the Mankato Meltdown Scale, I was at an 8 before the MN game. It's now 9, since they are losing. I told Bro Gin that something may be broken tonight at Chez Rube.

And only users lose drugs. You should tell your patients that.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #131: Spring is here!

got caught in a conundrum at work... I guess if you want to work on a project as much as you want you have to be a GS-13 or above... but I wouldn't want to put in extra time if I had a GS-13 (unless I was working towards for a GS-14) and the point is to ensure that I get to GS-13... kids, work harder, or else you may work for the government.

But some things at work are good... 320 pound deadlift for 5 reps.

Oh, they don't lose them. They just want more. Not the day to try me. I had -10 minutes of lunch, one of the lab machines failed, people were just in a bad way and no matter what I just couldn't catch up.
