I have some through there, but they're fine at the moment. These are through Direct Loan with the gov't. :mad: It's a long story and I don't want to get into it here, but it's frustrating.

We've already watched Charlie Brown and the Easter Beagle and the accompanying Charlie Brown and Arbor Day. I don't want to have them watch too much TV now because I plan to plop them in front of the tv this afternoon - when I have all 4, instead of just 3 - while I clean up and make dinner.

Usually, yes. But in this case, it's in reference to my charges: I nanny for 4 girls, 5 days a week.

My buddy claims that when he was growing up and he had a cold, his mom would have him take a warm shot of whiskey and honey before school to help the cold symptoms.

Ah, good point. I'm out of ideas. I only have to entertain an eight week old. And she is usually satisfied with the 'girls'. ;)

When I was a younging I remember getting those when I was sick..................

Looking forward to heading out of town shortly to watch the BSU vs. UND Fighting Flicker Riders.

Good morning from Denver, where it's a gorgeous autumn day. Tonight I'll see the Pioneers play for the first time this season. Tough non-conference series as BC is in town. Frankly, I think if Denver earns as much as a point this weekend it will have done well. Enjoy your weekend LODGEONIANS!

That explains so much .... You were sick a LOT weren't you? ;)

When I was in and near Burrrrmidji yesterday and Wednesday evening there was much talk about this on the radio. I got to stop by the BREC briefly Wed evening but could not get in.:( Looks good from outside. Should be fun, go Beavs, beat the "To be Named Laters!" :D

Now that I am at work and logged in via our network the old smilies are back. When I was at home, or on this computer logged in via the resort WiFi I had the new ones. Just noted that spell check doesn't work on quick reply, only advanced.

I am not sure how much whiskey was mixed in but rest assured it was enough to make me sleep like a baby. ;)

Did you stay in Bemidiji?

The BREC should be a nice addition to the Bemidji community and the BSU program.

One thing is for sure...........If some of the beavers living in and around Bemidji ever organize and label BSU as hostile and abusive and the NCAA steps in, the BREC won't have to be torn down to comply to the wishes of those beavers. :p

FWIW I still don't like the new and improved UCSHO site.
