Good Morning Lodge.

It looks like no bike riding today. :(

Home from church. The hazlenut coffee has finished brewing. The blueberry muffins are ready to come out of the oven. Scrambled eggs and bacon have been placed on their plates. Breakfast is ready. Might even watch part of an NFL game before heading to the gym. Enjoy your day folks. :)

Good morning Lodge.

Saturday was a big day for little g as he participated in a horse show (he is involved with hippotherapy). He did awesome and he was so proud of what he was able to do and he was quite the show off to the crowd. His ear to ear smile was the best part of the day.

(The non profit for little gs hippotherapy is such a wonderful non profit. However, like many other small non profits they really depend on volunteers and donations. I would kindly encourage any of you lodge members to find something in your community that you take an interest to and help either with your time or financially or both. It really is appreciated by so many.)

mil and fil and my mom and my sister and my brother and my nieces and nephew spent the night at the g pad. bil was a no call no show to the horse show (and to the entire day) it broke little gs heart and almost ruined his day/performance. I need a drink.

I'm posting from an airplane. While it is flying.

Hi. :)

I thought when you were surfing porn while flying you were supposed to call it "discussing union business"?

So in my late Saturday morning web surfing, I decided to pay a visit to my old high school's website.

They have a program called Accelerated Reader. You read a book, take a quiz on the book, then receive a certain amount of points based on the difficulty of the book.

Here's the entire list.

All three Lord of the Rings books plus The Hobbit add up to 32.2 points.

ALL FOUR TWILIGHT BOOKS COMBINED ADD UP TO 88.

Breaking Dawn alone is worth twice as much as The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank, and beats 1984, The Catcher in the Rye, To Kill a Mockingbird, Fahrenheit 451, and The Scarlet Letter.
Anything thats had a movie released based on it within the past 10 years should be worth more than 12. Ones with very well done movies, no more than 25.

Good morning Lodge.

Cool Beans for Little g the Cowboy. :D Just remember not become a Rail Bird. Basically, the horse show equivalent of That Parent at kids sporting games.

Big day for me yesterday. Formally graduated from Massage School with a little pomp and circomstance, only no robes or anything. Then sat at Conor O'Neil's a bit to watch games and to check on D2 scores there on my iPod. We had a big graduation party later on that night and it was probably the last chance we would all have to see everybody, so I kinda ducked out on my usual fall Saturday night thing at GVSU. Anyways, caught the end of the Minnesota game, and some of the Michigan at ND game there in AA, then I went on up to South Lyon for the party, and caught the end of the Michigan game there. Became pretty jealous of the classmates house after seeing it and the Man Cave downstairs, Bar, Pool table, shuffleboard table and darts. And the spread there was pretty good as well. Grilled flank steak and these Mango filled pastries with chocolate sauce were pretty **** yummy!!

Later on headed home, finally heard from somebody that was at the GV game, as about everybody else I knew had something else going on that evening as well and wasn't at the game. About as thrilling of an ending as the Michigan-ND game.

Good to hear he is doing so well! I also read the posts in the last thread about his learning to walk and the questions he has been asking you. I got tears in my eyes.
