What an awesome idea!

Just saying hello. Busy few days with the kids (nanny-ed on Thursday and then helped out on Friday). Spent the morning catching up on sleep and then watched The African Queen with tcbg (it's my dad's favorite movie and tcbg hadn't seen it). Now we're waiting on a call from one of his high school friends who is in town from Chicago.

Giada is still a goddess, but Aida Mollenkamp and Claire Robinson are moving up my list...

Afternoon, Lodge. Knocked out 10 miles today and improved my 5K time by two minutes. Just feels good to run again...

Weeded for a few hours. The drought has killed half of my garde, even the perennials. :eek: Now instead of dead plants and weeds I have bits of moonscape. Ah well.

Off to deal with the geek squad. On my 3rd external DVD thing and it won't work. Giving up and bringing the laptop with me. I want to see the thing work before I bring it home.:mad:

Oh and I might get a new phone while I am there. Maybe. Lil got a new one this week and is ecstatic.

It shows my age but Nigella Lawson is my earth goddess. Giada lost my interest when her melons changed after her pregnancy. :(

Good Afternoon, Lodge!

Found some great deals at the music store today. 7 CD's for just over $40. 3 Danzig albums, Focus, Mountain, and Borknagar. Mr. wore Black found The Hidden Hand. It was awesome! Then the afternoon turned black. I get home and my mom gets a phone call from my aunt saying that my Grandma has gone into hospice care and it sounds like she has less than a week. :(

Driving up rt128 a bit ago and right before the Burlington mall you come up a hill going north... Well I'm in the far left passing with everyone doing my usual 75 when I see coming at me a maroon car driving have inthe road/half inthe grass and see lights flashing (but that sissy is inthe breakdown lane). Hmmm, I wonder, as a car is flying right at me, wonder what he did that he is running away from cops, and probably going to get in bigger trouble now. So I'm thinking, what to do? Bump him and flip him like I'm Carl Edwards? Do what I imagine girl would do if she was driving and smash the brakes or swerve over into other cars? So many options.... So little time to decide.... So I choose the "keep heading straight, we should clear easily" tact. Oh and at this point girl and her sister see this and are nutty screaming.

All in all not your usual drive to the mall
