Morning Lodge.

I have an Owner meeting shortly. I think I'll be the guy that finally tells this Owner that what they want to do is dumb, expensive and can't be done on time since no one else on the team had the sense to figure it out or the balls to tell them.

Good morning all! T-24 Hours until we pull out of NC. A bit of last minute packing and lots of last minute cleaning to do. :( And we totally spaced packing the patio set on the truck, so now I won't have my chairs and umbrella in CT until mid-summer.

I thought it was an odd feeling to feel the baby kick and whatnot. But even weirder is I can now see her moving around in side of me. Nothing like having your belly move all by itself. :D

Hammer and RFAlph, I must respectfully disagree with your When does the weekend begin poll answers. It starts at noon today. Everyone knows that on Fridays there is a totally different atmosphere at work: evidence that something has changed, i.e. the weekend has arrived.

I vote for lunchtime Thursday simply because my attitude shifts to a Friday-like state earlier than others.

Apparently legal likes to mow the lawn, and she's moving closer to us. Hell, she'll practically be my neighbor.
True... but you guys will have to wait until next summer for me to start my lawn service. (too pregnant to mow at this point)

You can sit on a tractor and ride around, can't you?

I'll second this.

"Work is the ruin of the drinking classes." -Oscar Wilde

Clearly Wilde never had financial or educational issues or he'd know that those are the real ruin of the drinking classes. :o
I need it to be tomorrow afternoon so I can get a big hug.

I haven't been keeping up with the Lodge and do not know if this has already been posted...but...umm....

Camp Bacon!

Ann Arbor next weekend, Camp Bacon at Zingerman's. While I may not be willing to pay $150 for the full event, I certainly can make my way there in the afternoon to try samples of delicious bacon.

*wipes drool from face*

But surely these issues are not insurmountable, eh?
I forget who said: "Obstacles are opportunities in work clothes", but I don't forget who said: "Commander, tear this ship apart until you've found those plans! And bring me the passengers, I want them alive!" That was Darth Vader.

The weekend soon arrives, and that is a pleasant thought.
