Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 113: Whutchu talkin' about, Meyer?

I thought the lake itself caught on fire, too.

Wouldn't have surprised me - the Cuyahoga was narrrsty. It would have pushed petroleum byproducts far out into Lake Erie (not to mention the contamination from Detroit, Toledo, Windsor, and all the other cities in the Great Lakes region.)

Nope. Never learned of it in school or heard any reference to it anywhere else.

Wow, I'm amazed it never came up in an environmental history segment. Or, you know, around the dinner table at your house.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 113: Whutchu talkin' about, Meyer?

You know, it's possible to learn stuff outside of the classroom, too, right?
Gee, thanks for pointing that out. I never would have known that to be possible without having read this.
or sex tape, and just enjoy the learning.
Ok, now you're mixing me up with DL. Shame on you.

BPH - why would my family discuss a river fire that occurred in 1969? Not exactly timely given the fact I grew up in the 1980s. Most discussions consisted of "[name of congressman / other gov't official] is an idiot". :p

Maybe your mom wanted your dad to give her the Cuyahoga Smokehouse.
Way to turn a perfectly normal discussion of squirting diarrhea into women's mouths into speculation about what old people want to do to each other sexually.

You're just jealous that you didn't do it first.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 113: Whutchu talkin' about, Meyer?

Oh, into their mouthes? That'd be the Cuyahoga Quencher.
Sounds like a great idea for marketing. It could compete with gatorade AND ultra slim fast.
I'm inclined to agree.
If you want to pick up the slack of posting awful things, go for it. Sometimes it's a burden, you know.

Like this gem from painted_bandit?:

"Take a picture of me motorboating molly" was probably not my best career move

Now that is one helluva sentence there.

(i'll read back tomorrow when I'm getting paid)

Roommate update:
Both were there tonight and seemed pretty awesome. Definitely goodlookin. I'm 99% sure one is single, the other is not, her boyfriend was helping us clean and stuff tonight. Funny, he went to tech for a year.

I actually spent about 3 hours chatting with single roommate while cleaning up the apartment and putting stuff away. :)

BIG THUNDAA!!!

This is a much better conversation topic than the Cuyahoga Quencher or lung-*ing ctf.

Good luck, blue. :)
Random thought: I just realized I haven't made a purchase at Burger King since they started the stupid king commericals.

I started buying fast food burgers again when they started putting out good burgers. Like the Quad-Stacker. :D

FTR: maybe once every two months, and A&W doesn't count, although I only get one of theirs maybe once a year, since the closest one is wayyyyyy out of my way.
