Pretty sure he was talking to me since a group of us was sitting in the same area at the place in Milwaukee the day of the championship game after the poster's game was done. It was during the F4 in '06.

I was at majors. I go to the german place periodically before an admirals game.

Back from the reception; the food was awesome. Normally I go to these things, expecting a craptastic buffet and a cash bar. Tonight, it was a five-course meal, with appetizers (including petite quiche and Swedish meatballs), country vegetable soup, Caesar salad, bread, along with either lemon chicken or roast beef, green beans almondine, and twice-baked potatoes. As for drinks, there was an open bar along with wine and champagne at the table.

Some days, it's nice to have friends that are filthy rich....

I did that in '97. I don't remember much about high school anymore. This would make a lot more sense if I regularly abused alcohol.

I know the year I graduated because it was the same year my mom retired. Also, my husband graduated the same year. It was all a blur for me. ;)

I'm headed up to Traverse City for a wedding in two weeks, and I've already been told that there will be an open bar, "with good beer". :)

Who's wedding? I will be there. Pending on what is considered "good beer".

High school friend/one of my college roommates; his fiance is from that area. I know her fairly well and I trust her judgment on "good beer", so I'm expecting something a little nicer than, say, Blue Moon. ;)

Remembering when I graduated isn't tough - remembering any details from that phase of my life is. :p

I need to figure out what I'm doing Saturday in Denver. Everybody will be at the rehearsal dinner, and since I'm not in the wedding, I don't get to attend that.

Meh...I'll pass. Have fun at the wedding and drink twice as much for me. ;)

Head to Pat's Pub and hit on the Bettie Page waitress. Or head to the Appaloosa Cafe and hit on that hostess/waitress. Both still work there, last I heard.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #112: Son of "Filling in for the night shift"

I'm spending over $2000 of my own money to fly 8 hours home and be one of the groomsmen in my sister's wedding in a year and a half.

Not to mention I would be flying back on the tenth anniversary of 9/11.

It better be ****ing legendary. I'm talking "Patrick Ewing at the Gold Club" legendary.

... so they have go-nowhere lives? :p

Hopefully the Flyers are playing that night - if so, I'll go to Pat's in a Flyers jersey.

Given that it's a Philly bar, you'd fit in. :p
