Uh, CO is probably one of the highest populations of hippies. :p

Not that I disagree with the fact that pot should be legal, I'm just saying.;)

I suppose. Boulder. but also Focus on the Family. Ted Haggard. ranchers. miners. I knew the state had started to lean left, but, wow. or should I say Maui Wowie?

Yeah, Focus on the Family is a minority there. LOTS of backlash from the general populace.

You want Hippieville besides Boulder? Take a trip to Manitou Springs just outside of CO Springs. Holy hannah. You can smell the patchouli from miles away.

yeah, yeah, lots of those places up in the mountains too. the cumin seed BO.

To be fair, if I had to not live in MN, CO would be home. Love it there, and I've dam near seen the whole state thanks to vacations and hockey trips and friends out there. :o

Trade lakes for mountains as to MN. That's about it. Maybe a little less harsher winters, and slightly cooler summers. Nothing to write home about, though.

our house is at 11,000 feet. I think airplanes turn on the oxygen around that altitude. its winter 9 months out of the year and a chance of snow the rest of the time. nothing better than the Upper Midwest in the summer.

Good morning Lodge. Did I mention that I'm supposed to be going to Denver in July? For work. Nothing set yet, but I believe I will be going.
