No, you guys weren't embarrassing, I'm just messing with you guys. They're a pretty easy going group, so I knew there wouldn't be any kind of problem. I think they had fun too, since they're not from the area, they were happy to get the advice about where is a fun place to go. I'm a little disappointed that my other buddies were being stupid and didn't show up. We would have had about 15 people there if they showed up. :p

I know Mitch appreciated my like for the Shiner Bock, since he was from/lived in Texas and all.

Mitch? Are you forgetting names already? I think you mean Hutch, which is actually just his nickname, I don't even know what his real first name is. :p

Conversation I just had on FB with a friend of mine (we'll call her R)

R: so my friend is coming with to the wedding, so she'll be with us on the car ride up too. have you met her before?
MNS: I don't think so
R: you'll like her. she's cool. a total light weight though, so we have to take it easy on her at the reception lol she tries to keep up
MNS: uh oh
R: i totally just gave you a mission, didn't I? lol
MNS: I was about to say...." a whole bunch of bad thoughts just went through my head" :p

Lots of water behind the building where I work due to the overnight rain. Probably a clogged up drain.

Dentist late this morning. He's taking measurements for my fake tooth. :)

We've been under a perpetual flood watch for > a week. Everytime it starts to receed we have rain again.:(

Different dentist. The other one who did the implant didn't charge me for it since the first time it was done it got loose and he had to do it over. Apprently he has insurance for that.

This one OTOH is making a mint. :( Thankfully I knew about it last year and I am paying for it in pretax dollars.

Yep, we're building an Ark in NYC as well. 3-6" forecasted for the next 48 hours, possibly more.

Should be an exciting frozen four in a couple weeks. Just went through pictures of the welcome home celebration RIT put on, pretty impressive for 1:30am. I hope they will be out in force in Detroit, since it isn't a terribly long trip for them.

Not working but might as well be. Have to do the laundry, go to BJs, 2 markets, the library all in nasy, heavy rain. UGH.
