Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 106: My Team I Do Deeply Dig

Unreal game, its nice to see Maine play in the championship once again even if you hate them:p
Not sure I agree. But as I said last night, I'm happy for you. :)

And 'diva got to ride the Zamboni at the F5.
Really? That's cool!

TBF and wally - good luck tonight!!! I'll be rooting for you. From the couch, not the Garden. No offense, I just can't bring myself to head in there, even though I have a ticket. And Patman - really? That wasn't necessary, at all.
I understand, too well. :(

Probably not... couldn't think of a better analogy at this point. Don't see why I should be expected to be energized about the return of the Black Bears.

He can be happy about it... don't expect me to be happy about it.
You don't have to be happy about it, but it's like mom said, if you can't say something nice about someone's hockey team in tLodge, don't say anything at all. You want to flame away about Maine, go to DI.

That said, I am off to enjoy the beautiful day outside! It's in the middle 70's here today and I want to plant some flowers or do something else fun in the yard!

I'd ask to borrow the ticket, but the Downeaster is already sold out tonight.

OMG - forgot to include you on that list! My bad!!! It wasn't intentional. The ticket is yours if you want it. If you can find a way down here, let me know.

I had a blast last year at the Frozen Four as I didn't care who won, Just wanted some good hockey. I think you'd get that if you went. Maybe have a few pops and laugh at the folks who are nervous as can be:D

I've done that before, both at HE and the FF. Just not in the mood for it tonight.:(

Not expecting you to be happy or to care, but comparing it recurring cancer is pretty low, especially given how Shawn Walsh died.

so I'm supposed to remember things in the frame of things that have been unfortunate than others. Life gets hard when you have to keep a running tracker of minor offendages.

My father is now a 3-time cancer survivor... do I get to wave the moral superiority flag now?

edit: does it become more appropriate if Walsh hadn't died of cancer and was instead run over by a cow?

Getting to Boston isn't the problem, it's getting home afterward :p

Thanks, but I'll watch the game on the tube.

A cow?

Do you not get it? The point of hanging here is that it is a civil place to get away from the flame wars in DI.

I'll apologize for that much... but at the same time I shouldn't be hearing how great it is for everybody else.

It's Friday.
I'm on vacation.
Margaritas!
Hurumph!

After watching last night I feel better about our boys losing. Where the hell were those guys earlier this yr? Most of the fans there seemed to be in blue unless the red fans were on our side. I was surprised.

Patman- look at it this way- If Maine goes all the way we have an excuse for choking- they were incredible.

You can be happy or sad in the lodge about your own team but no potshots at other teams. After all, someone has to be happy.

There were definitely more civil ways to make that point.

Back from bike riding. I hurt all over. :(

Fiirst time that I have seen all of the volleyball courts by the Lincoln Memorial in use in several years.

With one exception. Mr. Shot is fair game. It's even in tLodge bylaws. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 106: My Team I Do Deeply Dig

I've got to root for NMU, and then Sacred Heart as a precaution. I can't believe this.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 106: My Team I Do Deeply Dig

I don't want to take a seat at the Jealous Hockey Table. Go Blue. ;)
