Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 105: 2010 Assessment

Quinnipiac wins the game 10:22 into the 5th OT.

Total time: 150:22.

The toughest thing? They've gotta suit up in a short 18 hours and do it again  :p

Quick, somebody get Mark a margarita and a bacon sandwich and put it at the HHT for him! He deserves it after sitting through that long of a game at #26's rink.

Easily the most uncomfortable rink in the league. Instead of a sandwich, get him an inflatable donut to sit on!

Shaughnessy gave an inch of daylight between his pad and the post and the puck squeezed right through there...
Yep, didn't look like that one should have gone in.

Minnetonka picked up their game in OT, but Hill outplayed them for most of the game.

Minnetonka gets to play the only team that beat them this year for the state championship...Edina.

Best. Game. Ever!!!

All I need is a drink... anything... concessions closed after the 3rd! I'm not sure I can speak. But I'm in hockey heaven!

And since I think I'm about to die, good mornin' to tLodge! :D

Glad you got to see an amazing game up there. You'll remember that one forever, guaranteed. Good luck to Q tomorrow night.

Five OTs, sheesh. I'm guessing both teams may look a bit sluggish for the rest of the series. ;)

The forum ought to be fun after Selection Sunday comes and the CHA gets 2 teams in the dance...
It will be filled with a lot of nashing of teeth and the tears of those that got left out. Winning now just got a heck of a lot more important for everybody that's still alive in conference action.

Parise, I hope its Huntsville! :D
!
Heck Yeah!!
You do realize that Miami is the only viable option, right?
Yeah, that would be some pretty nice justice right there. Chargers get to face off against the Redhawks, the closest squad to them with all of the hate and rage they have about the CCHA not letting em in. And possiably bump out another CCHA squad as well? that would be a heck of a statement right there. :D
