Yeah, but lobbing grapeshot between one another in the Michigan-MSU thread was fun. It reminded my of the old days around here. We haven't had a good blood-letting between these two fanbases in a while.

And yes, the general noobery around here is at an all time high.

no one knows who he really is. he's contacted all the Tech posters. sometimes obsessively. guess he branching out to RPI.

Invisible text for the entire month of November!

It's ok though, I don't plan on posting much in the cafe.

Is it sad that I didn't vote for "my hockey team's season"? I'm really not looking forward to what this season has in store for us. Traveling to one of the UMass schools for Quarterfinals? Possibly Vermont? No thanks.

And I think we're one of the few schools with no n00bs. I think we're actually losing posters. Meh.

It is funny to read certain fans complain that their threads, which used to be fairly quiet, are now busy and rife with flaming since their teams have showed improvement. That's what happens. Want to read a quiet thread? Root for a perennially crappy team with no rival. Other than that, get used to it - your team is good this year, and as such, will be a target. Try to have fun with it. :-)

Anyway, I do have a favor to ask the Lodgonians. I had an interview a couple weeks back, and I'm hoping to hear back from them, so if everyone could send positive vibes (or prayers, if that's yer thing), it would be incredibly appreciated. Thanks!

I promise a much easier to read formatting in December. :-D

BTW, it never ceases to amaze me how much posting there is from MTU fans with one poor season after another. If they ever win, this board might be completely overrun with them.

I am way ahead of you- started in Oct. Have a real flaming idiot on our threads who has a 'persona' that he needs to keep up what people expect of him:rolleyes: Can't understand people who act like azzes just to get a rise. Or at least when it is done with NO finesse.

I asked this question years ago, and someone said that vBulletin doesn't support it. It may have changed. The standard way is just to put <blink> </blink> around text, but I just tested that in the Test forum, and it still doesn't work.


Edit: Apparently <blink> works in Netscape but not IE. It has nothing to do with vBulletin.

he calls up Quiz every now and then wanting to put together some WCHA fact book. He acts all nice at first, then chews her out when she doesn't know who scored the game winning goal in a 1973 matchup of Tech/Wisconsin. :rolleyes: I think she blocked his number.

Morning Lodge. Back to work tonight. A 4 day trip...:(
