But no HEA teams...hmm.... ;)

I see what you did there. Go ahead, say it. You know you want to! :p

I like these off season digressions into rankings and such. They lead to a strangely fun excitement about the 'reveal' and analysis of what makes a program "good" vis a vis others.

Hockey East has much more parity. Every team has made the NCAA's at some point and every team except Providence has a winning record out of conference (PC is 1-game under .500) and only Northeastern and Merrimack are winless in the tournament.

Re: Ranking the Programs over the Past Decade

I am interested in seeing what might motivate FS23 to post in this thread.

Why are we stuck at #48, by the way?

Re: Ranking the Programs over the Past Decade

Are we going to wait for the next decade before we finish this list?

Re: Ranking the Programs over the Past Decade

Sorry, I continued the list and forgot to post here. Then took a break for the World Cup. I'll continue the countdown this weekend.

There is going to be another pause. I am taking a leave to deal with some stuff. I will finish it later. Sorry.

The blog I write for caps the # of posts we can write per day, so that will be all for now. When the countdown resumes, we will begin a tour around the Great Lakes.

Re: Ranking the Programs over the Past Decade

You have two different teams listed at # 43. In your July 6 post at 4:36 PM you have Alaska as # 43 with 158.517 points. Then when you resumed, you had Northeastern as # 43, you dropped Alaska to # 44, and you removed Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from your list entirely.

Re: Ranking the Programs over the Past Decade

No one tell Ralph!

I look back at my old blog and see that I ranked both Canisius and RPI as #45. When I was transferring to the new blog I just left them out completely.
And the best part is that I can't fix it until tomorrow because I've reached my post limit for the day!
