THE CLEANER
Come one, come all....

The Stampede with Ray Biggs is having a 3-hour NCAA selection night extravaganza. It is presented in conjunction with the fine gentlemen at d3 from 8 to 11 pm eastern.

The schedule:

8- Matthew Webb, Managing Editor, d3hockey.com
8:15 Derek Dunning, Norwich
8:30- Steve Wiitala, Computer Rankings Specialist, d3hockey.com
8:45- Chris Horvatits, WTOP 10 Oswego

At 9, i will have a remote set up down at the Utica College Pioneer Pub. I will move down there for an hour of interviews with UC players, coaches, staff, and others as they await the selection news.

At 10, we have selections. Rest of schedule looks something like this:

10:15- Joe Lacour, d3hockey.com
10:30- Scott Bridges, d3hockey.com
10:45-Steve Wiitala

Ambitious!
Let's hope the smoke clears so 10pm doesn't turn into 2am...or worse.
Good Luck!

Re: Radio Selection Show!

Hopefully the selection folks are advised of this so they can get their $hit together and be ready at 10:00. You never see the bouncy ball selection show on TV delayed by the committee, do you? :p

The committee should have ample time. The only Sunday game this year is the ECAC NE championship, and those two should be playing for the last seed in the East. That game should have no bearing on Pool C what so ever, so the committee should be able to hammer things out long before the NCAA streams the selection show.

Re: Radio Selection Show!

Seriously.

The selection show is shown on ncaa.com, and to today's kids, online streaming is TV and TV is online streaming. There is no differentiation to them.

When ever I read something like this, I have to fight the urge to yell, "Hey you kids, get off my lawn!!!"

AHEM!!!

The NESCAC is playing Sunday, too.

Not according to this from collegehockeystats.net
Sunday, March 3 - Men:
* Salve Regina at Wentworth NC 1:00 pm ET
UMass Lowell at Merrimack HE 4:00 pm ET
* - ECAC Northeast Championship

Silly of me think that the site that keeps the official information wouldn't show the potential match ups.
