R.I.P Miami's Brandon Burke....

Re: R.I.P Miami's Brandon Burke....

Thanks for the link......sounds like a guy that anyone would have been proud to have had as a son, brother, or friend. I think that he will live on through the people that knew him and loved him.

You hit the nail on the head, he was all of that and more. Which is why it was so devastating. During a pre-game ceremony the following night a moment of silence was observed and players were scene in tears following. The Miami family is so tightly knitted together anything hits close to the heart. Thought the article was spot on and bucci did a tremendous job again.

Thanks to all again for the kind words, they are greatly appreciated.

Great words from Bucci.

Here's the CBC article about Brian Burke's presser in St. Louis on Friday.

"I don't think my grief will ever end," the Leafs general manager said. "I think part of my heart was ripped out, but it's time to engage again and move forward as Brendan would have wanted."

Wow, good find. There was a brief moment of silence before the Miami/BG game last night in Bowling Green.

Here's video of the post-game celebration. You can tell there's a lot of pent-up emotion they were finally able to release. To see Carter Camper, for one, smiling and holding the trophy vs. the shots of him leaving the church on Tuesday is amazing.

Video and photo footage if you navigate around a little. This link goes right to video but you can find the rest at www.muredhawks.com
