I think the Beanpot is a little different in that Northeastern is hosting a tournament, so they'll provide services one wouldn't normally see, such as post-game news conferences for all teams. As a fan, it is nice to have access to fair,unbiased information about games. That isn't really what the sports information department is looking to provide; they want to promote the program. UMD's releases do take it a step farther than most, adding all sorts of editorial comments. I learned early on that the way things are done everywhere else isn't necessarily how they are done at UMD.
Anyway, the Bobcats highlights also omitted one of the Quinnipiac goals, so it may be a case of them not having a clear look at all the goals. I'm happy to get any information these teams can provide. Thanks for it!
