The whole team was the problem. How many times do they have to be "schooled" before they learn the lesson? Lesson being that you need to play with urgency the whole 60 minutes. Do they think the other teams are going to lay back and let the Huskies have their way with them? This team is mental. Shaky goaltending, poor D, and where's the senior leadership? Where's the upper class scoring? W--T--F?, cause if you put the letters together, they asterisk it.

Before anyone gets too excited, I'd like to point out that one of our guys lost his mom sometime yesterday. The team was told about it this morning and I'm told they took it pretty hard. This isn't meant to be an excuse... just that there are sometimes more important things than the game.

This team still sucks. The effort was not very good until the third. I assume Motzko finally put the fear of god in them at intermission. This team has the talent to be great, but no work ethic. They are going to have to be a lot better to be a top WCHA and be a national title contender. I know they have time, but you only have so much time and then it is to late.

Agreed. Last year's team didn't pick it up until after the new year. Earlier would be much better.

Wow. I wasn't able to watch or listen to either of these games this weekend, but it doesn't sound like I missed anything I haven't seen this season, or last for that matter. Come out and play with no effort or energy one night and pick it up the other and scratch out a win.
