Meh... another 3rd period let down.Win and a tie is never a bad result on the road, and the North Country trip is the toughest one in the league. Hard to complain about a four-point weekend up there.
That was a horrible game. Clarkson wanted that win more than we did. The turnovers and lack of possession in the third period - horrible. Not to mention we still don't have a goalie who can win us a game. Silverstein was way out of his net on the third goal.Meh... another 3rd period let down.

I know we should be thankful for 4 pts out of the north country but this team, at this point in the season, needs to be able to close out games. It's going to be a race to the wire in the ECAC and everyone above us in the NPI is a serious threat in the post season. I believe we're much better than 4 pts on a weekend.Fully agree. But it's a really hard trip and there's a reason Clarkson is historically good at Cheel. Since 2018-19 we've only won 2 of 9 games played there. It happens. Get the boys home and get 'em ready for Beat Yale week.
The problem with games like last night is they build a false confidence. Let's be honest, Brown was terrible on D and both goalies had issues. Add that they didn't generate any offense and the result was an easy night for us. If the score wasn't so lopsided I would be concerned.Nice win tonite. No Leddy, Pelosi, Borgula and Wilmer and we still put up 9. Just need to keep the momentum into tomorrow night. We can't afford to lose any bad games as the NPI is not in our favor right now. Even with the win tonite we go down to 10 in the NPI. I like how we put up points up and down the lineup - this will help us down the stretch.
Yeah, BC, BU and Maine haven't done us any favors.BC losing to UVM I'm sure contributed to the NPI decrease. Opponents' NPI has a higher weight in the calculation
That's the way to avenge the loss in November!BEAT YALE!!!
Largest margin of victory and most goals scored in the history of the rivalry.
Outscoring our opponents 17-1 on the weekend is pretty darn good. If this team can put it all together, we absolutely have the talent for another deep run. This weekend, albeit against some bad teams, is hopefully a harbinger of things to come. This team has all the talent to get to Las Vegas, they really do. Especially if the goaltending continues to improve as it has during the 2nd half.
Leddy is a week or two at least from what I hear (his original time frame was 6 weeks). Pelosi and Borgula are unknown. Last night during the broadcast they were termed "day to day".Great weekend. I know it was against two bad to mediocre teams but we did not play down to our opponents this time and kept it going to the end. Both goalies also did great few blubs. All in all things seem to falling in place for the end of the season.
I know Wilmer is out for the season and leddy is injured and probably game to game but anyone know what happened to Borgula and Pelosi and when they might be back?

Great weekend. Agree we did NOT play down to our opponent like we did earlier in the year. Positive growth going down the stretch. And our goalies made the saves they needed to in both games. There were a few scary moments that we need to clean up that better teams will capitalize on - but hopefully this builds confidence and momentum down this important stretch. We might see Leddy back next weekend in the home-and-home with Princeton.
Pelosi got hurt last weekend at Clarkson, and Borgula got hurt in practice during the week. Not sure what the timeline is for both, but I'm guessing we'll see them both back for at least the playoffs.
