Quinnipiac Bobcats 2025-26 - Viva Las Vegas!

Amazing job by the boys to get a tie out of this one. Great, great fightback. I'm pretty optimistic about the season overall.

Aside from the 3-0 goal I don't think anything else was necessarily Marinov's fault, but we do need a save at some point. Defense left him out to dry and maybe it's not fair for me to say this, but we need a save once in a while.
Marinov has been fine but Maine beat him high on 2 of the goals. Something to watch because he squats in goal. Love Verreault, Vidacek and Wyttenbach. All should be key players by years end. Also love Sward. From Devon Toews home town.

Last night Wilmer impressed me the most. No quit, always near the puck and relentless. The new guys are fun to watch but Jeremy will be a big part of our success this season.

Dominating win tonight! Maine had nothing for us all night. Marinov was never really tested and put up a very good effort. We outscored Maine 8-1 over 5 periods after yesterday's dismal start.

Seems like the team is gelling rather quickly. No glaring weaknesses that I can see.

And those new white sweaters are sweet!

That goal by Marcellus was absolutely gross.

This looks like a good team. Still a little worried about the goaltending, but we have the depth to be playing deep into March.

Great comeback on Friday night and huge win on Saturday. Maine looked a little drained on Saturday. Great overall results for the team so far. This week should be interesting with @Holy Cross tomorrow and @Merrimack and @UNH this weekend. Hopefully the team's energy remains high.

Quinnipiac's dominance over Holy Cross and the AHA continues. Bobcats are 16-0-1 vs. the Crusaders since last losing to them in 2005.

And if memory serves me right, QU's last regulation loss to an AHA foe was in 2020 against SHU in the CT Ice Final.

Not the weekend I was hoping for but a split on the road against two very good teams isn't bad. Not sure how a team with this much offensive power across 4 lines can only put 3 pucks in the net. We've got to find a way to improve that. They faced 2 decent goalies but both left opportunities that weren't taken advantage of. Not to mention the power play struggles.

At the end of the day I think it's obvious our weakness is in net. Marinov seems to be continuing his hot/cold routine. Silverstein has been better in my opinion. Dylan was fabulous last night, especially late in the third.

They now have a 10 day break before the mid-week rematch with Alaska followed by the start of league play.

My other concern is the lack of scoring on Friday nights. A lot of shots still. I assume that is due to all the new faces. Plus we had the Tuesday night game against HC. I seem to recall this being somewhat of an issue last year early on as well.

Merrimack was looking for a payback for the NCAA’s in 2023. Nice win over UNH.
