You have to love the way Rand, Riga and Cashman recruit players that fit there system but they also find ways to get some talented players that other teams didn't want anymore or they decommitted from.

Look at the current roster

Landon Smith - committed to Denver, coaching change he then comes to Quinnipiac over North Dakota who wanted him 2 years ago to come mid season
Tanner MacMaster - Signed LOI with BC was let out by Jerry York comes to QU
Thomas Aldworth - committed to Providence, decommitted and came to QU without ever seeing the campus from what I heard
Luke Shiplo - signed LOI with Western Michigan but was let out and came here and probably helped Thomas Aldworth come here as well
Joe Fiala - committed to Western Michigan, decommitted and came to QU

KJ Tiefenwerth - Originally committed to BC switch to UMass Amherst - played a season there before transferring to QU
Kevin Duane - BU transfer sitting out 2015-16 season
Chris Truehl - Air Force transfer sitting out 2015-16 season


Even in the past taking in talented transfers in JST and Justin Agosta have worked.

Huge league weekend. Two tough teams come to the Bank with 4 pts on the line. Our 4th & 5th games in 8 days.

No problem... we got this!

Focus on tonight. Clarkson is struggling a bit going winless in their last 3. No conference wins yet either so they'll be hungry. They seem to always play us hard so we need to come out strong from the opening faceoff. Take control early and work hard all game.

Looking forward to a good home crowd and a loud student section.

Go Q!

Doubt we will see a loud student section this weekend as most students will be heading home for Thanksgiving break today.

Embarrassing period of hockey. Lucky to not allow a goal but Clarkson is bullying us like kids in the schoolyard. Guys look like they could care less and want to be on Thanksgiving break with the rest of the students.

It also doesn't help that Chip McDonald is letting Clarkson do whatever they want on the ice after the whistle. But Q is playing horrible hockey right now.

We escaped that one. First time we've got punched in the mouth repeatedly by a team. Clarkson is always good for it. Got to take 2 against SLU tomorrow night. Oh and some energy wouldn't hurt either

We stole a point a tonight. We had no business even being in this game the way we played. I'll take the point though.

You guys ain't kidding! Skating with very little rest and coming out with a tie is really nice to see. I think we will look good come tourney time.

Take the point and move on. Even getting outplayed all night, they hung around and stole that point. Two things were blatantly obvious tonight. First, they were tired which I guess you really can't fault them for. Second, Clarkson did what they needed to slow us down even more. It wasn't ugly but hopefully they can find some energy for tomorrow night.

The only one that looked good tonight was Garts. He definitely kept us in that game in the 3rd. They got a little spark after tying it but too little too late I think.

On the bright side, we're still unbeaten and there's no reason for panic.

I've heard alot of people say "Quinnipiac is peaking too early". That is certainly not the case. Lots of work to do
