Think its Galiardi. 39 pts for the Avs last year and is still maturing.

Hopefully we look back and say D'Amigo. He's a Yank.

I think Jerry will be. That said, the Jones' brothers are a special pair...I followed them in Jr.s --they will be a handful to play against..A great recruiting score by Q. They should be on the best-ever list at Cold Mountain before they depart.

It may be old news now, but our expert agitator Eric Lampe has signed with the AHL's Syracuse Crunch, the Anaheim Ducks top affiliate.

Small thing. But has anyone does something about the banners at the Bank? I'd have to imagine they will be adding a basketball regular season champion banner, so why not update the hockey banners?

The ECAC Tournament participant banner needs to either be taken down or amended to say something like ECAC Finalist and list 06-07

I'd also like to see the Uconn Husky Classic Champion listed with the Catamount Cup on the Tournament Champion banner. The team beat Merrimack of HE and a nationally ranked AFA squad, let's recognize it.

I've heard they're adding a banner which reads: "Home of the Rand Pecknold boy's and girls hockey camps" :-) :D

Oh no... not the banner discussion again! :eek: :p

I completely agree with you on this. I'll even accept the ECAC banner as is if the others are updated appropriately.

By the way.... less than 2 months if anyone's counting! ;)

Nothing set yet. One would assume Wonger will get a look as well as JMB. Wong had a tryout with Detroit's AHL affiliate but rode the pine as a healthy scratch for the bulk of the time.

INCH has included Zach Davies in their A-Z preseason outlook section. Let's hope for a big year out of him and our very deep D core.

Congrats to Lampe. I may have to head to the War Memorial and watch him in a couple games this year. He was pretty solid when your team came to Troy, and vice versa.

Lampe was unsung IMHO. A good, gutsy player with great speed and decent puck handling skills. His only problem was/is his temper, but in the right environment that could be an asset.

And in the right environment, could also be an asset to those in the crowd sitting behind the penalty box. :D I had fun picking on Dalheusen this past year.

The Hartford Wolfpack announced today a pre-season game against Bridgeport at the TD Bank Sports Center. October 1, 7pm. $5 for tickets, all proceeds going to charity.

Season ticket holders were given the opportunity to purchase tickets for this game with our renewals! :cool:
