Quinnipiac Bobcats '12-'13 Post Season - The view from the top...

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats '12-'13 Post Season - The view from the top...

Doesn't matter how we got there, all that matters is that Quinnipiac's name is bolded at the end.

Hell of an effort. I was starting to lose faith down 3-1 the way that goaltender was playing, but this team is something special. Such a great effort to climb back in. Once they made it 3-2, you knew it was just a matter of time.

Now to face the team that might be the hottest in the entire country. Union is going to be an absolute battle tomorrow night. They'll have to come with that third period effort for 60 minutes if they want to win that thing.

GO BOBCATS!!!!

Ya know, we're due for a multiple OT, marathon game. Come on, I know you guys want to sit through another 5 OT game with Union. Make it happen, please? ;)

I hope tomorrow is an absolute classic game. Best of luck.

As much fun as that would be, I don't know if I can make it through a game like that.

As long as Quinnipiac wins, I'll take whatever.

I do not care which of you wins tomorrow, as long as that team wins again in Pittsburgh.

Make it so.

2nd hottest team behind Lowell. But it's going to be a real tough one tonight. Can't wait to go. The 2 wins over them earlier this year mean zero at this point. If Quinnipiac doesn't bring their A game they won't be in this game.

Just want to say thank you for the Quinnipiac fans who stayed in the Dunk (Providence) for the Union Game and cheered for us against BC. That was a classy thing to do. The ECAC has a lot to be proud of this year including having the #1 ranked team in the country.

I do not believe Quinnipiac fans will be cheering for Union tonight.

GO BOBCATS!!

Sunday hockey at the Dunk!

A red hot Union team will require the best effort the Bobcats can muster. This is not the same U we beat twice during the regular season. However I have complete faith in this group of Bobcats. It should be an awesome game.

Go Q!

Agreed. You guys haven't exactly been lighting the world on fire lately. Barely escaped a mediocre Cornell team on your home rink, lost to Brown in an uninspired effort in the ECACs and then last night against a Canisius team that stunk for most of the regular season. Talk about skating on thin ice (no pun intended).

That said, it should be a great game tonight. Glad that the ECAC will be represented by two teams in the Frozen Four. Long time coming.

We haven't played well. Though, Canisius found its game late -- they were better than they appeared.

I just love the fight in this team. Could easily have folded up the tent down 3-1 with 15 minutes to go, but they just kept it rolling, and got it done.

GO BOBCATS! Beat Union!

How's the golf course treating you? You're an embarrassment to your school.

I bet if I went to your thread and said "Beat Quinnipiac", you wouldn't be complaining like this. I'd like to see Quinnipiac win this. Is it so awful to have rooting interest outside my own team's interest? They're one of the teams that I like to see be successful when RPI isn't playing them. Colgate's another, and Dartmouth has started to become one as well. This did not start because of recent happenings; I've given some deference to the Q since I was in college.

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats '12-'13 Post Season - The view from the top...

On the way to the rink now and I would be lying if I said I was not nervous. Union is red hot, and they looked as impressive last night as I have seen any team this entire year. With Grosenick on his game and that PP unit clicking, today's game will be quite interesting.

I think special teams will play a huge role in the game today. If Q can stay out of the box and keep that Union PP off the ice, I like our chances. Of course, Hartzy needs to step up today, the defense needs to play better, and overall they need to play a complete 60 min game.

Also I would love to see Langer get on the score sheet tonight and get his 100th career point. Looks like he has been pressing a bit lately.

This team has played close game after close game all season long. Many of those Q had no right winning, but give them credit, they have found ways to win. It has seldom been pretty, but the objective is to win, and this team has managed to do that this year.

Hoping for a great Q turnout in the stands and on the ice. Go Bobcats!

I think right now you have to call Union the favorite -- they're playing insane hockey.

But no one works harder, and no one fights harder than Quinnipiac.

The Bobcats will not be an easy out tonight.
