Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

that was my first thought when I saw Hartzell get the start tonight. I would be shocked if Clarke wasn't in net tomorrow

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

The good news is we only took 3 penalties tonight and 2 of those were on Bobby Tyson who was making his first start (rookie mistakes!). That was an area they needed to work on and it looks like they're getting the point.

Mark's been saying it all along and I'll echo it right now...Langlois is the real deal. Big things out of this kid in the future.

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

Where's all the pre-game buzz?

I really like our chances tonight. The Bobcats and the Big Red are the top 2 scoring offenses in the country. However, I'm thinking it might be more of a defensive battle with the difference being between the pipes. Right now, I feel we have the advantage in net.

Go Q!

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

I think all the quiet is everyone knows how big of a game tonight is. If the Bobcats can pull off the win tonight, I am ecstatic about what position they will be in the rankings come Monday.

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

Excellent first 50 minutes... terrible last 10 but they held on to win.

Overall they outplayed the Big Red but did let them climb back in late in the 3rd.

Not sure what went wrong at the end but I guess it doesn't matter now. A win is a win, and this one came at Lynah!

Another 4 point weekend! Way to go Q!

Way to go Bobcats! See you guys February 6th (hopefully in person too)!

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

Anyone have any idea if this is the best start (10-1, 6-0) in program history?

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

Pretty impressive start by Quinnipiac this year. The Bobcats are now rated third nationally in the Pairwise ranking, and fourth by KRACH.

With an outstanding freshman class, and some outstanding recruits on the way in 2010 and 2011 (the Jones twins, Callahan, St. Denis, etc.), we have a program that is on the rise and gaining national recognition in college hockey.

Nice win tonight by the men’s basketball team over Yale.

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

Wow. That is a top 5 win in program history -- on the road, against the top 5 team in the country... that's just absolutely sensational.

Way to go, Q!

Wow is right ZYanks! Undefeated weekend for the Bobcats, with the women tieing Colgate/Cornell and Men's BBall winning at Yale.
