Not sure if Dartmouth is that bad
At the risk of upsetting the Harvard fans  , I thought DC played us a lot tougher than the Crimson did. Both teams still have some cobwebs since the Ivy's get a later start to the season than we do, so we probably didn't see the Big Green's best game either. I'm sure the rematches with both clubs will be a lot tougher.

QU sure did look good for a solid 40 minutes, and against this DC team, that was enough for a win.
And I won't make any apologies for either win this weeked! :p

Dartmouth played way more desperate, but in the same vein, Q came out as flat as they've been all year in the second period. If they maintained the same energy they had in the first and third, the game would've been 7-0.

Nice to meet you over the weekend Wong and Mark. I am sure I will be back to Hamden shortly if the Bobcats continue to play like this. I am thrilled to see them jump up to 12 in the INCH poll. It will be interesting to see if there is anyway they can climb up to 10 in the USCHO one.

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

Now that the team is making a jump in the rankings it got me thinking. What is the highest ranking the QU program has ever had? I am sure someone on this thread can answer it for me, Fred perhaps?

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

I was expecting a jump in the polls after the two wins this weekend but not that large of a jump. 13th is certainly a great place to be sitting, higher is always better but I"m not going to get greedy here.

Let's hope we can keep this momentum going as we hit the road.

Lucky 13 at USA Today as well!

The recognition is nice but let's hope it doesn't go to their heads. This weekend at Colgate and Cornell will be a real test of how good this Bobcat team really is. If we play like we did against Harvard, I like our chances. ;)

Friday night you play Colgate, and Saturday you play Cornell. So which game will be the test, Fridays or Saturdays, or maybe both. ??

:o :o :o I've been having trouble keeping dates straight in my head lately... :o :o :o

It will be a tough weekend regardless of who we play on Friday! Colgate is just as dangerous right now as Cornell is.

:o Fixed my post above too...

Bobcats move up to #13 in the newest USCHO.

That's OUR lucky number! The (early) battle for 1st place is on the line Friday @ Starr. Plus, we'll be wanting to erase the sting of last March's 3-game series. Should be a good weekend/test for both teams.

Should be a good weekend indeed as the teams do have quite some history. May the best team win.
