Question for Michigan State fans....

Re: Question for Michigan State fans....

You're talking about Walmart wolverines right? That fake alumni fan base with cheap tee shirts and wear michigan branded pajama pants out in public. Those are the people that CARE right?
This "Walmart Wolverines" obsession that people have just shows an inferiority complex. You didn't get accepted to Michigan, but at least you got into a college, so now you need someone to feel better than. So, when you see Michigan fans, you assume they are "Walmart Wolverines" so you don't have to be jealous at the superior education they received. It's kind of cute when you confront one who informs you he has 2 Masters degrees from U of M. Or when the Lunatics start chanting "Walmart Wolverines" at a group of Michigan alumni.

I'm not denying the existence of Michigan fans that have no affiliation with the University. However, should we mock most fans of pro teams? I have no actual ties to the Baltimore Ravens except growing up 30 miles from Baltimore. Does that make me a Big Lots Baltimore fan?

Anyway, I'll try to get back on topic with a new verse to "If you can't get into college":
If you can't be a commissioner go to State!

Those degrees obviously haven't done much for him though if he's still wearing pajama pants out in public.

1. At the time he was called a 'walmart wolverine' he was wearing jeans and a Michigan hockey jersey.
2. Do you have any idea how comfortable pajama pants are?

1. Are you sure he wasn't wearing those jean sweatpants things?
2. Yes, I do.

Re: Question for Michigan State fans....

Or maybe he is more like Ron Mason?
Mason's first two years at MSU
1979-80 Michigan State 14-24-0 12-16-0 8th
1980-81 Michigan State 12-22-2 7-20-1 10th

Scratch that; We made the tournament last year. Better than Ron Mason?

And Ron Mason had some seasons as head coach under his belt. And an NAIA championship to boot. Also, at the time Mason didn't have to compete with modern day Notre Dame, Miami and all the other rejuvenated (and juvenated) programs.

I guess what I'm saying is if TA can win 5 more games this year, he's at least as good as Ron Mason!!!!

Please sign guest book on way out.

Oh look, the classic "their school has mass appeal so let's make stupid remarks about fans who didn't go there". How sparty of you.

You morons act like Michigan is the ONLY school in the entire universe that has fans that didn't go to the university.

I guess I could say, "How walverine of you" to dig at MSU when arguing with a Western fan.

Also, why do Michigan fans always assume that anybody who went to a different school tried to go to UofM first?

I think almost everybody in this thread is terrible, by the way.

Watch out, your smugness is showing!

When I graduated high school I had a 3.8 GPA with a 33 on my ACT plus plenty of community service. If I wanted to go to Michigan, I would be there. Alas, I am at Western because I want to be here. People like you further reinforce my excellent decision not to be with pretentious jerks.

Not everyone who is at another school wanted to be at Michigan.
