you must have missed the last 3-4 seasons, where the boys didn't show up a lot of nights. RPI deserved better tonight, but they did play the #1 team in the nation. I remember Oates and the boys administering a few escape acts like this tonight. It sucks, but they are way ahead of where they were last year, on the ice, and in the standings.

We did the same thing against both Alaska teams too, and they're nowhere near the top.

As I said before, improving on last year is no big deal. That's like saying the Knicks have improved on last year. They had no where to go but up.

I wouldn't say far ahead. Given our NC schedule, it's a miracle we even won one of those games, and against BC nonetheless. We were expected near bottom 4, and we're around middle of the pack. Ahead? Perhaps. Far ahead? No way.
